How Do You Learn About Windows 10 Best?
Hello all, I have a genuine question that has no right or wrong answer. How would you learn to use your computer better? It doesn't matter the device, the operating system, or how long you've had it. Simply put, everyone learns differently and at their own pace, what format or style of learning works best for you? I'm a Microsoft trainer and have been providing computer training at all levels for years. As much as I love the job security of being needed... the ultimate goal is to make Windows 10 easy to use and navigate without support. So, do you learn best from step-by-step instructions in a clickable demo?Perhaps that's too time consuming and you'd prefer a quick notification with basic instructions? Do we appreciate links to support pages or pop-up instructions? Has the time finally come to bring back everyone's favorite digital assistant Clippy? What do you perceive as helpful versus intrusive? So please, take a second to sound off and thank you for your feedback!

How to choose the right web browser for you! Guide!
Web browsers have become a part of our digital life, and anyone would agree with it. Many browsers are available to be installed and used, but 'one of them' should become your favourite and default browser, isn't it? Here's a guide on how to choose the 'right' browser for you! Check the speed of loading pages: Most people don't do a web search just to wait for some ten minutes till the results appear. They need a swift and fast browser, which is light on memory usage too. Ads are the monsters which makes loading a web page slow, and what if a browser could block all ads without any extension? Recommended: Brave Browser(fastest browser, lighter on memory usage, great totally ad free browsing experience) https://brave.com/ Security:Browsing the web can be dangerous. You personal information can be tracked, and you don't want that to happen. Many of the modern browsers have default security options, but are they actually secure? Recommended: Tor Browser(most secure ever, but very slow) https://www.torproject.org/ Fame: The browsers that has the most attraction are the ones widely in use. But don't get tricked, popularity doesn't mean the best! Recommended: Google Chrome(widely used browser) https://www.google.com/chrome/ Mozilla Firefox(Chrome alternative, some claim it's better) https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ Customisation and nice layout: Some people love browsers that loves to be customised to the latest, and so they do! Recommended: Vivaldi(the most customisable, nicest and noticeably fast browser, no version yet developed for ios) https://vivaldi.com/ Something like Vivaldi: Opera (has a free built in VPN with unlimited bandwidth) https://www.opera.com/ And if you don't want to consider any of these, try the new Microsoft Edge Chromium, it actually is better than Chrome now! https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge

Win. 10 disk cleanup: How to delete temporary files
hi all: I wonder why is it that when it gets to like the 7th or 8th day, especially day 7, going to Storage and Temporary Files, I noticed the temporary files is there. It doesn't happen from day 1 to day 6. I have to clean it up. But it still appears in disk cleanup. I actually delete temporary files from manually before going to Storage. I thought it could be a bug in Windows 10. Wondering under temporary files, why it will not state 0 bytes in disk cleanup. For mine, it will state 2.07 MB. For some of you, it might state GB. I searched online and found a way for the temporary files to state 0 bytes in disk cleanup. Here are the steps: reminder, the following steps involve registry and do not modify other things, as it might cause serious issues with your device. 1. Please type reg under search and it will show Registry editor. Please click on run as administrator. 2. Then, go to, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Temporary Files 3. In the right-pane, double-click LastAccess. 4. Set the value data for LastAccess to 10. That is what I did for mine. After you are finished and go back to Storage and Temporary Files or the disk cleanup, you will notice under temporary files, it will state 0 bytes. A reminder: Even though it might state like 2.07 MB under temporary files, but when you actually delete the files manually, it will have no affect at all. You don't lose disk space because of it. Hope this helps.

Windows PE LCD Panel Question
I have a boot CD that contains the latest available Windows PE complete with drivers for my workstation. I use this CD to perform image backups to my NAS storage from my hard drive. The backup is currently running now, and I have my software set to shutdown the computer upon completion. I use Macrium Reflect as my backup software. While the backup was running, I noticed my LCD screen was a bit dirty. I powered it off to then clean the display. After I finished cleaning it, I powered my LCD panel back on. The display is not returning though, and it seems no signal is being sent to it now. I tried pressing keys on my keyboard, moving and clicking my mouse, but none of this is helping. Is there a way to get Windows PE to send a video display signal again? I am using an NVIDIA Quadro P5000 video card.

Unable to comment
Ok, I need some help here! I'm running Microsoft Edge Canary, and yesterday I noticed that I was unable to leave any comments on one particular site that I frequent. I thought that there might have just been a glitch in their system and moved on. This morning I noticed that one of the sites that I use to sign in to comment on the above mentioned site, would not let me comment or even see the already posted comments, on that site as well. Hmmmm. The only change I had made yesterday. was activating the "Sleeping Tabs Flag" so I disabled that, restarted Edge Canary, and nothing changed. Next I opened Microsoft Edge "Normal"? and looked and saw that I was able to comment on both sites. I checked and both settings were identical on Edge Canary and Normal. Next I opened up Chrome and was also able to comment on both sites as well. I know some of you are going to suggest "Why don't you just either stay with Edge Normal, or Chrome? In the overall scheme of things that would probably be alright, except that Edge Normal doesn't quite have all of the features that Canary has. Could I live without them sure, but truth be told, I'm too much of a tinkerer. As for Chrome. I keep it around for back up and to show those tech support people who's only answer is "well you need to use Chrome instead of Internet Explorer"..... What a hoot!...Gimme your suggestion all Thanks The sites are: https://mspoweruser.com http://disqus.com

How do I stop this page from opening a new tab?
Hi I have Win 10 and Dragon Chrome browser. All my setting are set to: DONT OPEN ANY NEW TABS WHEN I CLICK LINKS! In Win 10 - Internet settings. It is set to "Dont open a new tab/page when I click links". Every time I click on any link here, it opens in a new tab. Even Microsoft.com, in my Microsoft account, doesnt do that. I have a google Extention that prohibits any link or command to open a NEW tab. I need to right click and open link in a new window, if I dont want to go to the link in the same windows. HOW are you forcing my system to open a new tab every time I click a link here? The logs says nothing, and developer tool shows no java/JSON hidden activation. How do I turn off, so I can click links in the community, and use the same tab/window? Its getting annying to remove tabs all the time when browsing and posting here. Thanks --Jonas - The Swedish Goth

Another Cool Recent New Little Feature In MS Edge 👀
Hello Everyone, Within the last update to MS Edge Browser Version 90.0.818.66 (Official Build) (64-bit) GA and Probably ALL versions of the New Edge Browser. I've noticed a very Cool new pop open Weather Graphic. It's NOT a huge improvement keep in mind, but never the less a very easy on the eyes nice clean look. Go to your Edge Home Page and at the top left hand side of the screen right next to "App Launcher" you will see the outside condition and temperature. Now hover over this with your mouse or pointing device and you will now see this New Pop Open Graphic for the Weather and Temp for the next four days. I feel this is just yet another Very Cool Change that Microsoft is implementing to it's New Modern Look and feel. Before they implemented this new feature when ever you hovered over it. It would only show you the outside condition and temp for only ONE day with NO graphic. Once again Microsoft and MSN you have done a fantastic job and I look forward to ALL changes you have in the future. (Now and To Come) 😁🎉🎈✨ What are your thoughts on this Weather Goodie ? Likes/Dislikes ?
