PowerToys FancyZones - New Feature - PPTX Viewer in FancyZ
Hi, I have difficulty to run my presentations from home office as i wish. PowerPoint force presenter-view to be run in full screen. If i try to run PowerPoint with view in frame so i can show my video, whiteboard and so on at the same time in split-screen/teams, i loos the ability to have presenter-view. This is a big problem in these time when we have constant home office and need to do more than just pptx on the presentation. I need to have the presenter-view on my second screen and split-screen view tilt pptx on the screen shared in meeting tools. My thoughts is that the magic in the tool PowerToys FancyZones can help with this. If the FancyZones get the ability to set one of the frames as an second/third monitor. This will then bee an virtual emulated monitor living in a frame-mode in PowerToys FancyZones. How Do You Learn About Windows 10 Best?
Hello all, I have a genuine question that has no right or wrong answer. How would you learn to use your computer better? It doesn't matter the device, the operating system, or how long you've had it. Simply put, everyone learns differently and at their own pace, what format or style of learning works best for you? I'm a Microsoft trainer and have been providing computer training at all levels for years. As much as I love the job security of being needed... the ultimate goal is to make Windows 10 easy to use and navigate without support. So, do you learn best from step-by-step instructions in a clickable demo?Perhaps that's too time consuming and you'd prefer a quick notification with basic instructions? Do we appreciate links to support pages or pop-up instructions? Has the time finally come to bring back everyone's favorite digital assistant Clippy? What do you perceive as helpful versus intrusive? So please, take a second to sound off and thank you for your feedback!

Backing up and restoring the registry
WARNING: Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE) is a very powerful tool that lets you make changes to the registry. However, incorrectly using Registry Editor can cause serious, system-wide problems that include hard disk corruption, general instability, or being unable to use your computer. It may be necessary for you to reinstall your operating system to correct the problems. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Also, Microsoft does not support changes made to the registry. Use this tool at your own risk. Backing up and restoring your registry can be done by: - Exporting to the registry file for backup - Importing to Registry Editor for restoration - Creating a restore point for backup / using System Restore for restoration - Creating a system image for backup / using System Image for restoration To back up / restore your registry: 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R, type "regedit" and press ENTER. 2. Do the following: - If you want to back up one of the registry keys, navigate to any, click Export on the File menu, type the name, and then press ENTER. - To restore the registry, click Import on the File menu, find the file that ends with .REG, and then double-click it. PROFESSIONAL TIPS: Instead of importing to or exporting from Registry Editor, it's strongly recommended to either create a restore point or create a system image. That way, you can use System Restore or System Image Recovery in case changes to the registry can cause your computer a problem.

product key - error code 0xC004F025
I bought a refurbished lenovo laptop last year....not 100% Activation section tells me error 0CC004F025, but I have entered the loop of loops trying to purchase a product key. I am not 100% with all this. This is the first time I have joined a community group online Feedback welcome....needed! Thanks Ax

Edge goes to safer httpS
Your Dev & Canary may already have this, it is brand new. Eventually Edge GA will have it. There is a flag for it in Dev & Canary to have it working, now. Look for it in Settings > Privacy, Search and Services, lower down on the page. httpS with be used, instead of http. > Flags & put Automatic HTTPS in its search. Add this to the list of good reasons to set Edge Dev as the DWB. And to the list of good reasons for Edge being THE "browser of choice". Cheers, Drew

What an unlucky chance!
Hey all, Do you know that we can't add special names to some folders? Well, we can't- just make a folder (new folder, or rename an existing one) and name it 'con' (without apostrophes). You'll see that you got an error message. Now type in 'nul' (without apostrophes, and clearing the con name) and try to rename it again. Same error message repeats. There are many more fun commands like con and nul, which I forgot. Please leave any other codes like this in the comments! :) Joe13 B-)
