Windows 10 Mail
One day I booted up my laptop and saw all my Windows 10 Mail folders were gone. Is it possible to get them back?
Previous + Latest Windows Update: MISMATCH
π€ Can March "C" OPTIONAL UPDATE(KB5000842) can be downloaded & installed with together with April "B" Update(KB5001330)? β Yes 100% but remember it would be like "Back to the future" from KB5001330 to KB5000842. Under UPDATE & SECURITY --> ADVANCED OPTIONS --> upper right of the screen, states: "Windows Update might update itself automatically first when checking for the other updates" π March "C" Update it will be recognized as OTHER UPDATES, & it will download & install first the KB5001330 then the KB5000842. π It will create conflict between the two updates. MY BEST ADVICE: LEAVE KB5000842, TAKE KB5001330 GET BUG/S, ERROR/S or BSOD THEN GET FIXED when available.
Where π are the daily birthdays on Bing? πππ
The daily birthdays do not come up on Bing Rewards anymore. Used to be that they would be option, but now the option is "Current Weather". That's no fun! Bring back the birthdays....they are a great incentive to learn about others and history at the same time. I find it much more relaxing with my morning coffee than the weather. Anyone else missing the π?
Am I the only person who uses One Drive to share files??????
I think that One Drive is fantastic for many reasons, one of which is the ability to share files with anyone just by sending them a link (email attachments are so last decade). But so often when I suggest this to a friend or colleague they look as me as though I have just landed from outer space! Yet everyone seems so familiar with Dropbox. Often when I suggest sending something via One Drive they say "just send it via Dropbox"! Why is this? For a Windows 10 user surely One Drive is so much easier. So, my conversation starter is: - "Am I the only person who likes to use One Drive for file sharing?
Unnecessary CPU usage
Hi, I have unnecessary CPU usage on my computer. I'm looking for the reason but couldn't find a solution. When I look at the task manager, I see 'System' increase rapidly. I am waiting for your help. 2 Step Authentication Hmmm?
This morning I went to a site that required 2 step authentication to get in. Although I've noticed this behavior before, I never really paid much attention to the fact that if someone should walk away with my laptop computer, they would have access to any of my sites that use 2 step authentication, where they send me an access coed via text message, because that text message shows up in the Action Center. Scary Huh! I've thought about disabling those in the Notifications & Actions that I think need to be disabled but haven't tried it yet. I'd be interested to hear what you may have or haven't done.... Windows 10 S May 2019 Update?
So I have had some security issues recently. I bought a new laptop PC specifically with windows 10 S. I see a lot of threads downplaying itβs functionality/usefulness - but for me, in this moment, the more secure the better. When I went to update my new laptop, it stopped updating at the 1809 windows update. Is there a 1903 windows update coming for S or is that only if I convert to windows 10 Home? Iβd like to avoid conversion until/if I feel it truly necessary .. but would also like the latest windows features and updates. Any news/info? Thanks for any reply!
