Outlooks on outlook, notes on Note
I need two pieces of guidance as wading through documents and pages is not giving me any confidence about Outlook. (1) Like I have had with Google/Gmail, can I add any number or at least say up to 5 or less extra accounts under my MS account? This issue sort of links to my second piece below because I am not sure how MS accounts work with what seems to be two distinct MS "accounts" with apps, etc. More on that below. What I want to do is what I had in Gmail and I am moving over to MS from Google. I have an blahblah@outlook.com email I see in the MS Office Outlook app. I IMAP my current Gmail and created PST folder files. What I really need most is another blahblahblah@outlook.com per se account. Like in Gmail I have AAA@gmail.com and AAB@gmail.com. Can I do this without buying another subscription? (2) I saw articles on using Outlook.com versus Outlook 365. I do not see the same things so apparently they are different, but why. Should my blahblah@outlook.com be seen in both? I use the 365 app as I pay for that anyhow. Outlook.com I assume if from my original account signup??! This is confusing and feeling trapped as I have with OneNote 2016 versus OneNote 365 and no way to combine them short of geek city. (3) I forgot to mention a third, so is there any way possible to change my MS Account ID from (no laughs now) blahblah@gmail.com? I mean I have no need now for any Google garb so is there a way short of canceling my current subscription under the Gmail ID and opening up another, same subscription details, but using my blahblah@outlook.com as the ID?? The only thing working that I get pretty much between subscriptions and Office versus .com versus app versus ???? is OneDrive. I can see that sync from W10 desktop and my iPhone. I can use OneDrive.com and use the app, it all works. Why doesn't OneNote work that well? Does Outlook work like that? Thanks for the help in advance. Such a Blah conversation. Alan

Complete mirrored backup (Everything)
Hello, I know I can make a backup of the OS (System Image Recovery) , but is there a way to also back up all the programs and apps installed? In case a hacker threatens to wipe out the hard disk it would be so nice to not even bother and as the ransom will not bde paid, just reinstall everything. I´m sure I'm not the first to wish this. Thanks for any idea, Ingemar

computer viruses not removed with windows defender products
windows 7-8-10: Windows defender does not work well as an antivirus program . I am wondering why MS doesnt tell customers to buy an antivirus program and continue to use it. i found an ISASS.exe in my computer . it took over about 30 percent of the folders. i tried to quaranine it and report it . i couldnt it attacks the security options first and greyed them out so i couldnt submit the problem. i took those computers to BEST BUY STAPLES OFFICE MAX and other private tech services. no one could actually remove the virus. i bought a new hard drvie at BEST BUY.. the computer was there for 3 days. At the store on pick up a hacker started to elongate the scroller button on the scroll bar side. i told the tech the virus was still in my system. they charged me $250 anyway.. said if there was a problem bring it back. i tried four times no one removed it !! NEVER take it out of the store if you see the same issue. I want to know why MS never helps targeted customers get those viruses out and why you dont have a more aggressive program to remove those kind of thnigs. I SASS.exe is not new but Windows defender in 7-8 10 doesnt remove any of it. we are brainwashed not to be concerned about it. thats how you end up buying three more computers cause the original one is over taken and crashed. Echo
Amazon is telling me I don't have security or firewall protection in order to use/connect with my Echo. Everything was fine until I canceled Amazon Prime. Now Echo/Alexa tells me "Can't connect" I spoke with DELL, and they told me the security that was pre installed on my desktop was all the security I needed and didn't need to "PURCHASE" more which is what Amazon was telling me I had to do.. After I canceled Amazon Prime, I installed just Amazon because Echo told me I had to have an Amazon acc't to use Echo. but not Prime. So now I'm faced with not being able to use Echo/Alexa ( that's what Amazon is telling me anyway ) I'm not in a position right now financially to purchase another security because of Covid, and my Windows Security seems to be doing a good job ! Can anyone help ??? Thank you, Rick

Which is The Best Window For A Small Business Owner?
Hello, I am currently using Windows 8 but this is not because I really liked Windows 8 and its performance but the real reason for installing in my Pc is that in 2013. When I first bought my Pc then Windows 8 is so much popular and new to its edition in my country and so without any proper investigation and reading any informative blog I just go with Windows 8. Then after 1 or 2 years, I release that Windows 8 is not as great as people thought in the past or if we just simply compared it with Windows 7. I want to shift to Windows 7 but before it an another Windows edition appeared and everyone just surprised and it becomes popular version too at that time, Yes I am talking about Windows 10. Now I am reading hundreds of articles to decide which version is the best for me. I am a beginner so I have no proper knowledge about this stuff but I want reliable and best Windows for me. I am handling several clients' projects or say I am a small businessman so on basis of this which windows are best for my work? Thanks for giving me a platform to ask my query.

Here's an idea to improve MS Calendar and Reminders
Sharing this idea and hope that others agree it would be helpful. How many times have you said to yourself or a family member or colleague, "On the next warm day, I want to..." Or, "on the next cool day I need to, or, the next time it rains, I need to..." In other words, "To Do" list items are not only date/time relevant, they also have other attributes or triggers such as weather (as one example), or location attributes such as "the next time I'm in Boston I want to...". The could apply to business as well as personal items. This feature would bring the next level of intelligence and personalization to calendar and reminder apps. It's only a question of time as to which vendor introduces it first - and will make users become lovers of their technology/platform. Freezing after update
My computer freezes when I download the newest update. not sure why, I need to keep pushing back the update because this one gives me problems I think. Is it me or the new update?

Windows Security>Reputation based protection settings
I am unable to access the settings for 'reputation based protection'. This setting is managed by your administrator, is the only constant reminder that pops up whenever I click to check those settings. Removing Windows 7 / 8.1 From a Windows 10-based Computer
This conversation will show you how to uninstall Windows 7 / 8.1 from your computer and keep Windows 10 intact. WARNING: Before you uninstall Windows 7 / 8.1, back up your files to another location, such as OneDrive or USB flash drives. To uninstall Windows 8.1: 1. Start your computer running Windows 10. If you're running Windows 8.1, restart your computer to Windows 10. 2. Right-click Start and then click Disk Management. 3. Right-click the partition that contains Windows 8.1. Do not right-click the partition that contains Windows 10. 4. Click Yes to confirm. 5. Close Disk Management. 6. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R, type "cmd" (without the quotes) and press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER. 7. Type bcdboot c:\windows and press ENTER. 8. Type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press ENTER. 9. On the Boot tab, select "Windows 7" or "Windows 8.1", click Delete, and then click OK. 10.Restart your computer if prompted. NOTE: If you have upgraded from Windows 7 / 8.1 to Windows 10, you don't need to follow steps 1-10 shown above. Only follow steps 1-10 shown above if you are multi-booting between Windows 7 / 8.1 and Windows 10 on your computer.
