If you have any ideas on how to add some fun into the community, or specifically to this website, please add your comments to this conversation. I'd love to hear from you!

Features From Windows 7 Still Exist in Windows 10
Windows 10 includes features from Windows 7 that still exist. They are: - Shake - Peek - Transparent taskbar - Snap - Fading in and out for opening programs - Pinning programs to the taskbar Except: - Flip 3D - Desktop Gadgets - HomeGroup Quickly moving the window back and forth or pressing WINDOWS LOGO + HOME on a program will minimize all open windows. The keyboard shortcut to Peek has changed. Press and hold WINDOWS LOGO + , (comma) to peek through the desktop. Pressing WINDOWS LOGO + TAB opens Task View for virtual desktops, switching between programs, and opening websites from Timeline. Pressing WINDOWS LOGO + LEFT ARROW/RIGHT ARROW or moving a window to the left or right will tile it. You can also do it on another window. You can tile four windows by using Snap now. Moving a window to the top of the screen maximises it. NOTE: Windows 8 and later versions no longer include Desktop Gadgets due to security vulnerabilities. Windows 10 April 2018 Update and later no longer includes HomeGroup. However, you can still share folders with another users by configuring the sharing settings through File Explorer. Or you can access another user's computer from a network to work with folders.

How do this feature work? How do I receive points?
I am new to this part of the forum and I am just gathering information so I understand it better. I know there are instructions, but I wanted to hear from the community to make sure the features all work as intended.

Windows Updates
What type of updates are available on Windows Community?

Windows 98 upgrade
I have an older computer that uses Windows 98. The computer surprisingly started up and seems to work. But for how long, who knows. There is a genealogy program, that is no longer supported, that I would like to transfer to a newer computer. How can this be done?

I need your help.
I want to upgrade my computer windows 7 to windows 10.

I cannot open Notepad anymore
I cannot open Notepad anymore. I use it sometimes for log files, but it doesn't work anymore. I click on it and nothing happens.

MOST of my pictures are gone after the last update
so after the last update or attempt to update over night saturday 10/24/2020 or sunday 10/25/2020 most of my pictures disappeared. I have about 5 or 6 files left and a load of individual pictures but I am missing a lot of files and I don't know if any of the loose pictures disappeared that I had not filed yet. Any way to get these pictures back I have been lookingfor a way in help boards and such because it seems like "...it's oh well try this thing that wont work and shrug not out problem guess you're sol ask someone else that doesn't work for us..."

Samsung Monitor (S27D390) has dark areas after update
After recent update of Windows 10 (current OS build 18363.1198) running on Dell XPS8500, my Samsung Monitor (Model S27D390 - functioning as monitor 2 of a two monitor set up) has dark areas that change when I reboot. Monitor 1 is functioning correctly. Anyone have any ideas about fixing this problem. I have loaded and run the most recent driver for the monitor.
