I cannot tell you how AWSOME Windows Terminal is. You HAVE to get it to figure out. It allows you to have more than one tab up at a time. Works GREAT! đâ¨đ Just search for it in the Microsoft Store! đ Good Luck, Nathan
Bing Maps!
It's hard to take Bing Maps seriously now. I live in Hong Kong and for some reason the Ariel Map View will show me located inside the ocean, but when i turn on Road View, buildings and roads get duplicated. I addressed this issue for months and there was no improvement. There is even a private housing development area close to where I live that has been completed and running for the past 2 years but Bing Maps shows it as dust (AKA under construction). Unless Microsoft only focuses customers based in the US and / or UK, (I cannot comment much on that) but that is poor stuff from them. Products release here much later compared to other markets while their competitors make sure every customer in the world gets first hands-on. So as my first sentence. "It's hard to take Bing Maps seriously".
Windows 10 - create a desktop icon? Help please đ
When I used Windows 7 I could easily create an icon for my desktop. I do not seem to be able to do that now. Desktop icons are very helpful and speed up the connect process. My bot (computer) is an HP Combi and is currently operating in tablet mode. I have tried the process of using themes but was not successful. Any suggestions? Many thanks PS - I understand that Microsoft Edge doesn't allow desk-top shortcuts to be created. Have to revert several clicks to get to a website đ¤

'Lindows', an Operating System nobody would speak of
No, that was not a typo. Nor was this OS the brainchild of Microsoft. After the disastrous release of ME, Lindows creators wanted to attract Microsoft customers to their system that combined the UX of Windows, and the open-source capabilities of Debian Linux, hence the name Lindows. Yet sadly, none of the applications worked, and when they did, they were incredibly slow and buggy. After various lawsuits over the copyright infringement of the name, Microsoft forked out $20million, and Lindows became Linspire. They got theirs. Lindows â a mixture of Linux and Windows. Lindows first came out in 2001, promised to let you run all Windows applications on Linux. Within few months Lindows Inc. realized it was a bad idea. Even with WINE, a way to run Windows programs on Linux, the company couldnât get enough Windows programs running on Lindows to sell it as a Windows replacement. And oh! It was a bad stunt to name it similar to Windows after all! Imagine a 'Lindows' community...
Do you use gestures on your laptop trackpad?
Windows 10 has many options for custom gestures you can use with your laptop's trackpad. By default you can do things like: show the desktop, tab between applications, launch search but you can also customize them. Up grading my PC
I would like to give thanks to everyone at Microsoft for creating a wonderful program that has help me advance my career as an published author. Office 365 and Windows10 is one of the best Apps I enjoy using. The program has allowed me to create such wonderful documents and stories that will last a lifetime.
