Release Preview Changed My Windows 10 Pro to Windows Home
I have posted this in the Microsoft Answer forum and did get a reply. The answer is that I have to put the Activation Key that I was given when I upgraded my Windows from Home to Professional 3-4 years ago. I'm not sure if I still have it or not. I'm not upset about it because that was from the Windows Insider Program although it was a bit surprising given that the general availability is one week away. Here is my post I made in the Microsoft Answer forum. I'm posting this so more people will know. ----------------------- Dell Laptop Inspiron 15 Series 5000 (5565) Windows 10 Version 10.0.19041 (Build 19041) I joined the Insider program for the first time and installed the new Preview Release. I noticed that it had changed my version from Windows 10 Professional to Windows 10 Home. My laptop originally came with Home 3-4 years ago and I immediately upgraded to Professional. I haven't had any problems since. I attempted to reinstall Windows using a USB stick that I had used in the past but when it came to a screen for me to review my settings before it actually did the installation it showed that it was going to install Windows 10 Home. Then I did a complete Reset using the fresh copy off my hard drive and when it finished it is still the Home version.

21H1, now or wait for it, your choice.
21H1 has started rolling out & will over the next few weeks. You can wait for it to show up in WU OR you can have it, NOW. To have it without waiting use MCT. Download it, run it hitting Update Now. https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10 Cheers, Drew

How often do you use Tablet Mode in Windows 10?
Hi everyone, There are so many 2-in-1 devices out there today which has me curious. How often do you find yourself switching to and using Tablet Mode in Windows 10? How has your experience been with it so far? -James, Product Advisor for Microsoft Stores.

Windows Insiders
Hi Everyone! My name is Jennifer. I've been an Insider in the Fast Ring since April 2018. I just started Post University Monday, taking BS Computer Information Systems!! I didn't know a thing about computers a few years ago, until I got a refurbished Windows 7 & began experimenting, (I kinda blew that one up).. got a Windows 10 & discovered the Insiders Program... WOW!!! I was hooked!! Thanks, Microsoft for giving me the opportunity to become an Insider. I was able to decide on a learning path I love & go back to school at 46yrs old!!! My goal is to earn my Bachelors & go into Tech Support, I love troubleshooting & enjoy seeing smiles when I get someones laptop or phone up & running again ( I have become Tech Support for my entire family)!!! Wish me luck!!!

Persistent Windows Account Notification
Whenever I boot my computer (windows 10) I get a notification saying "We need to fix your Microsoft Account (most likely you password changed). Select here to fix it on Shared experience settings." I click on the notification and then the "Fix now" button below the red "Some of your accounts require attention" message. From there a dialogue window opens up, but it never loads. The previous screen has the option to give feedback however I need to be logged in to leave feedback. I click log in and I see the same empty dialogue window pop up, so I'm guessing it's the same log-in problem. So how do I resolve this self perpetuating problem? How do I satisfy or disable this incredibly persistent notification?

A Funky WELCOME page

Windows 10 Discussion
I Had Just Installed A Clean Refresh On Windows 7 with ALL UPDATES BACKED UP .This is my opion Windows 10 is NOT the best. . how microsoft push's operating systems for the latest Technology . on per say . its like looking at LINUX . Windows Version . As Theres To Many Bugs Malware out There . and not enough memory to satisfy programs And Still Paying Out Of Your Pocket .for A Computer System To Run . as Your Thinking to Get All Your Updates Think Again Updating Your System You Run does not have For You run Into Some Kinda of Error . your Knowledge Get Into Macintosh your Better Off Paying More Out Of Your Pocket In The Long Run Its Worth It . . .
