Windows 10 and the Internet of Things 🌐🛰🚀
Hello everyone - hope you are all keeping well 😀 These last few weeks I have been absorbed by the features and the artificial intelligence of Windows 10. This has led me to thinking about IoT and humanity's journey into space (Mars comes to mind as does the moon). This is not such a big leap of imagination. This may be another whacky idea of mine, but I have to think that some of Microsoft's 'smart inventions' will be part of this space journey. I for one hope so. With all the unpleasant and upsetting news coming out of the CoVid19 global state of emergency, it cheers me to think of possibilities. Keep well all
In-place Upgrade of Win. 10 vs. re-installation of Win. 10
Your device might run into an issue or issues like in Windows 10 functionality and the In-Place Upgrade sometimes is the most reliable and quickest way to fix the Windows 10 malfunctions. Here are the options you can choose to fix issues & the differences between the In-place Upgrade of Win. 10 vs. re-installation of Win. 10. 1st option) The best quickest option but one that might take a while is called an In-place Upgrade of Windows 10. (reminder: backup every files, folders, etc. before performing this. Apps will have to be reinstalled.) This let's your device start fresh. You can choose to backup folders, files, etc. to the D drive, if you choose not to erase the D drive during the re-install of Windows 10. Problem Printing Word Document
l have been printing the same word document for years with no trouble. It still prints from my old laptop HP OMEN with Windows 10, to my old printer HP Envy7640. I have just tried to print the same document from a surface go 2 in Windows 10 s mode, using word to my HP Envy 7640. It won't print. Word says there is an error with my margins. quick fix is to print as PDF file then print the PDF file using my HPsmart App to my printer. Anyone know why the file won't print normally from word on the surface go 2? I know word uses the printer driver to work out margins but could this error be anything to do with s mode? Apart from that the surface go 2 is brilliant. I am using the basic model and so far it handles all my basics well. Good job Microsoft: Wish I had one of these at school in the 60's. Wouldn't it be great if every school could give one of these to everyone at school. I'm actually writing this with a pen just like I did before l left school. The more we advance the more we stay the same.

We all know that Windows 10 as an operating system is very inconsistent. For example, Windows 10 has 2 settings menus which mostly have the exact same things just duplicated. Also, if you scan all the dropdown menus in Windows 10, there are about four types, one of them being a fluent design type context menu-one that Microsoft should stick to, and the others literally being ripped out of Windows Vista and 7 and glued to Windows 10. In fact, one of the default apps in Windows 10, WordPad, as I've heard, are literally pulled out of Windows operating systems that are 20 years old! Hence I urge you all to voice out your opinions on this inconsistent Windows were Dark Mode is like half-baked pie. Share your experiences with the inconsistency. I hope it gets to Microsoft. Browsing using Collections
I just today got around to understanding and actually using Collections. Given the Google way that Microsoft has set up the favorites (I HATE IT) I can see now where this is going to be somewhat useful. When I open Edge I am greeted by my 2 Home Pages, and my favorites bar. On the favorites bar I have my 4 most oft used sites. When I need to use my next favorite sites, (yea, gotta pay them bills) I need to got to Edge Bookmarks and select the page that I want. With Collections, I can open that and select the appropriate collection and simply open the page. For me at least this is much cleaner and faster as I don't have to scroll down to the Bookmark folder, select the page that I want. If someone from Microsoft reads this, my only suggestion would be: When a page is opened from Collections, open it in a new tab. That is all! We will now return you to my regularly scheduled nonsense

Additionally, normal difficulties that accompany age, exacerbate prior difficulties, such as prior lifelong Adult ADD and depression. 3> It is expected that a combination of tools and enforced (yet customized) structure can assist the challenged functional professional; improving quality of work and life, work / personal life balance, health (reduction of stress, reduction of anxiety and coincident issues worsened by work stress).
