In an Azure Active Directory account: If your device was ever signed in to an organization using a work or school email account, your recovery key may be stored in that organization's Azure AD account associated with your device. You may be able to access it directly or you may need to contact a system administrator to access your recovery key.

Use the following steps to change the recovery key. Open the on-premises data gateway app and sign in. If you have multiple gateway member in a cluster, you must sign into the primary member. On the Recovery Keys tab, select Set new recovery key.

Connect the recovery drive and turn on your PC. Press Windows logo key + L to get to the sign-in screen, and then restart your PC by pressing the Shift key while you select the Power button> Restart in the lower-right corner of the screen. Your PC will restart in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) environment.
