SFC scan found corrupt files and has repaired them
hi there: I found a weird issue. This happened since 1903. I don't know if anyone of you has faced it or just me but will show you. It is regards to the sfc scan. When did the scan, the result will state: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Now, I use the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command to fix it. Meaning, to get the sfc scan to say: Windows Resource Protection found no integrity violations. Maybe when I shut down the device and restart the device later or use it the next day and do the sfc /scannow, it will say: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. I think there is a bug in the scan. 1st, when my device does not have issues, it should not say, Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. 2nd, when the results states: Windows Resource Protection found no integrity violations, it should stay that way, unless there are really corrupt files and has been repaired. Can someone let the team know about it?
advance option: Automatic Startup Repair failed
I would like it if the Windows team can create a fix for the issue regards to startup repair failed. I had an issue where my device could not load the welcome screen. I used my USB to enter advance option, then went to the option for startup repair. It tried to repair but couldn't. (startup repair couldn't repair your PC).

File Explorer very slow!!
When I open file explorer it scans the C: drive. When I single click a file, it scans the C: drive. If I open or modify a file (change the name) it scans the C: drive. These scans vary from 5 seconds to 20 seconds, EVERY TIME. I searched Windows defrag with the start menu search button, it brings me to optimize drives. When I run the optimizer, it completes the process in 5 seconds... but i see ZERO change in the performance of my laptop. Secondly, video media I have that used to play smoothly, suddenly plays very choppy. If it does or does not have any relation to the above problem. Thank you, Nick
Creating a batch file for Windows Recovery Environment
It's easy to restart your computer to Windows Recovery Environment from a batch file. In order for this to work, you need a batch file saved by using Notepad and running it as an administrator. Here's how: 1. Start Notepad; click Start, type "notepad" (without the quotation marks) and click Notepad in a list of results. 2. Type the following: @echo off reagentc /boottore shutdown -r -t 00 3. On the File menu, click Save. 4. In the navigation pane, click Desktop. 5. In the Save as type drop-down arrow, click All Files. 6. In the File name box, type "Windows Recovery Environment.bat" (without the quotation marks) and click Save. 7. Close Notepad. Now, whenever you need to start Windows Recovery Environment, just right-click Windows Recovery Environment on the desktop and click Run as administrator. You only need to do this if you're experiencing problems with your computer, and you can use tools like System Restore or Start-up Repair while on Windows Recovery Environment.

hi, I like to know a couple of things. Regards to the sfc /scannow to scan for corrupt system files. I remember in 1703, after using that scan to scan for corrupt system files, it will state: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. In 1709, it will state: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log after the scan. But from 1803 to 2004, it will state: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log after the scan. I have to use the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth to restore the operation. Then, use the sfc /scannow command to get it to say: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Now the thing is: maybe few days later, when doing the sfc /scannow command, it will state the same message, Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. How will I know if there are really corrupt files? I mean, there is a bug in that department?

Run Command Prompt as Administration EXECUTE THE OLD COMMAND/s or SYNTAX -->SFC /SCANNOW (This is to REPAIR/FIX any corrupted/missing files in your system. -->DISM /Online /CleanUp-Image /ScanHealth --> DISM /Online /cleanUp-Image /RestoreHealth **** The DISM command/syntax itself tells what it can do to your system. **** Always KEEP AN EYE on EVERY result of each command/syntax, & if EVERYTHING is fixed. You are READY to UPDATE. I did this to the unit having ISSUE/s (Some update files are missing or have problems. We’ll try to download the update again later) before I made an update. EXPERMENTING AS LONG YOU DONT DELETE/ERASE/RENAME/CHANGE/DISABLED ANYTHING(SYSTEM FILES, COMPONENTS, WINDOWS FILES & SERVICES, THE REGISTRY).
Why does word not work as default text editor?
Word says it is not the default text editor. When I say make it default, it says go to settings but guess what there is no option for documents!! I tried repair it does not work.
