win10 ver 2004, folder options bug? (fixed)
(Edit, not bad, not even 30hrs from first update with the bug and another updates that fix it were available) build 2019.10.17.6232201; Control panel -> File Explorer Options-> tab 'View' or any file explorer window -> tab 'View' -> Options-> Change Folder and search options both open almost same settings, and the 'Advanced settings' apply in both cases to all folders; now when i select 'Show hidden files, folders, or drives' and unselect 'Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)' which asks for confirmation, then i click on 'Apply' and 'OK' nothing happens, i go back to File Explorer Options-> tab 'View' , and what i selected & unselected before has been undone, i repeat everything once more and now the hidden files appear and the advanced settings has been successfully altered, however if i want to hide all those files again, i need to repeat it twice in order for it to work; can anyone confirm if it happens on his/her PC as well?

Recommend Edge Dev as DWB 👍👍
Download & install Edge Dev (https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/download) In the OS Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Web browser and select Edge Dev. Now, you can enjoy all the neat things Dev has (now) that Edge GA does not have (yet) and with it being the DWB. It, the DWB, does NOT HAVE TO BE Edge GA. It is just fine with it being Dev. Cheers, Drew

Lock/Login screen - select account / set default account
On the first screen (well, after I entered my Bitlocker PIN ;-)) the account I use most is listed last in the left hand corner, and not the default account. I always have to select it using the mouse (or touch). I would like to use my keyboard (e.g. up/down arrows) to select the account I want to sign in with. Also, I would like to have the most or last used account selected by default (or have a way to configure it somewhere in the settings). The device I use is my personal laptop, it is just that I have multiple accounts on it for different purposes.

Headphones not recognized
Was working fine. Then I put laptop to sleep and an hour later when I opened it again, the sound only comes out of the speakers. Things I've tried so far:- 1] Blow dust from the jack 2] Reinstall/update all audio drivers 3] Headphones confirmed working with other devices 4] Update windows 5] Checked that Windows Audio service is running 6] Troubleshooter did not identify the issue 7] Uninstall Realtek drivers(temporarily) 8] Am sure haven't spilled water in it When I opened sound settings in control panel, my headphones are not listed in there, disabled or not. Only the speakers show up under the Playback tab(even after unhiding the disabled devices). No amount of Check For Updates gave me any new drivers; apparently they are up-to-date.

Unable to comment
Ok, I need some help here! I'm running Microsoft Edge Canary, and yesterday I noticed that I was unable to leave any comments on one particular site that I frequent. I thought that there might have just been a glitch in their system and moved on. This morning I noticed that one of the sites that I use to sign in to comment on the above mentioned site, would not let me comment or even see the already posted comments, on that site as well. Hmmmm. The only change I had made yesterday. was activating the "Sleeping Tabs Flag" so I disabled that, restarted Edge Canary, and nothing changed. Next I opened Microsoft Edge "Normal"? and looked and saw that I was able to comment on both sites. I checked and both settings were identical on Edge Canary and Normal. Next I opened up Chrome and was also able to comment on both sites as well. I know some of you are going to suggest "Why don't you just either stay with Edge Normal, or Chrome? In the overall scheme of things that would probably be alright, except that Edge Normal doesn't quite have all of the features that Canary has. Could I live without them sure, but truth be told, I'm too much of a tinkerer. As for Chrome. I keep it around for back up and to show those tech support people who's only answer is "well you need to use Chrome instead of Internet Explorer"..... What a hoot!...Gimme your suggestion all Thanks The sites are: https://mspoweruser.com http://disqus.com
