Thoughts on new Microsoft Edge?
Hey, this is Robert, a Learning Specialist with Microsoft. Now that the new Chromium Microsoft Edge has been officially released for a couple of weeks. What do you all think about it? What are some browser extensions you use on other browsers that you'd like to see on Edge? Urging a Good Habit
It is true Win10 has heaps built-in to keep it in good condition, but there's a wee bit of TLC the End User can offer, as well. Often things are reactive, but for this, one is not waiting until there IS an obvious or even suspected issue. Often things are suggested to be done say, just before a new H. Well, let's not focus on an upcoming event or a problem after-the-fact. For this there need be nothing (already) wrong. These can be for any time, for the hell of it, for sh!tts & giggles and in the name of prudence. Could make it a loose habit of wkly, bi-wkly or even (at least) monthly or when you think of it... quick, easy & no harm done đ. > Windows Terminal as Admin. Type sfc /scannow, hit Enter and then next DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth, hit Enter Point is, can run these whenever, to casually check & make sure all is, always, in good order. Windows Updates
I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit operating system on an ASUS H81M-Plus board and Intel Core i5-4440 CPU and 8.00 GB installed memory. I am having a problem with Windows Updates. It says âYour device is missing important security and quality fixesâ but when I go to 'Check for updates' it repeatedly says 'We couldn't connect to update service' even though I am online and have a good fibre internet connection. Can anybody help?
Cant copy emails
I've always been able to copy any emails and paste them into a Word document, but as of yesterday that no longer works. I highlight in the email what I want to copy then go to paste but there's nothing there. Why would that just out of the ordinary not work any more?

How can I stay safe while connected to Wi-Fi?
Use an encrypted Wi-Fi while online. Wi-Fi that is encrypted with WPA-2 is more secure than Wi-Fi that's just open for all to access. If you're working from home, make sure that your home's Wi-Fi network is securely encrypted and using WPA-2. All home routers support encryption.
Virus & threat protection: Keep Defender antivirus
Hi there, Virus and threat protection is not yet activated I think so. It's just says "Your virus & threat protection is managed by your organization". How can I proceed further to use this. Please do the needful.
