Windows 10 - create a desktop icon? Help please 😀
When I used Windows 7 I could easily create an icon for my desktop. I do not seem to be able to do that now. Desktop icons are very helpful and speed up the connect process. My bot (computer) is an HP Combi and is currently operating in tablet mode. I have tried the process of using themes but was not successful. Any suggestions? Many thanks PS - I understand that Microsoft Edge doesn't allow desk-top shortcuts to be created. Have to revert several clicks to get to a website 🤔

Windows vs Linux Speedtest Results
When running a speedest in native windows 10 (2004) i get about 3mbit up: https://www.speedtest.net/result/9664495719 When hosting kubuntu in hyper-v, I get nearly my full 38mbit up: https://www.speedtest.net/result/9664479113 Both windows and linux are running through the hyper-v virtual swtich. Make a White list and a Black List Tab for emails.
This came to me in my sleep last night. Spam and Malware is so rampant it drives me crazy. How about making a Tab that allows us to sort our mail into a white list (Email we always want to receive) and all others into a Black List (Emails we want deleted permanently the moment we receive them.) This would help keep our email account clean and stop a lot of annoying time going through everything each time we receive the same junk over and over again. I know we have spam folders and you can just go to the site and request to be removed but that takes a lot of time and at times wasted effort. This way we control what we want to see and stop the headache of having to constantly delete the junk we don't. On the email we are not sure of we can always put into a review later folder. This will cut down on a lot of unnecessary emails and clutter.

What was the funniest?
I'm sure some of you have been asked to look at someone's computer or have asked for help your self. Me? I've been on both sides. So what was the funniest thing that I had pulled on me that I also did to some poor unsuspecting "friend" I fixed the problem, turned their screen upside down and then said I had to leave for a bit. to look up to see how serious their problem was. I did come back about 3 hours later LMAO and finished "fixing" the problem with a few key strokes... So what did someone do yo you and or what did you do to someone. Yes, there is more to the story, this is just the Readers Digest version!

Windows May 2020 update
Hey there, just got a little problem with Microsoft Edge. I'm unable to use the mic only with Google Translate. By any chance, can those working on the upcoming May 2020 Windows 10 update, work on this and add the solution to new update? My laptop's a HUAWEI Matebook D14, just to know.

Volume slider on Action Center
It would be very usefull to have a volume slider below / above the brightness slider on the Action Center, let me explain : My main laptop is a 2in1 and when i'm in tablet mode and full screen, if i have to change the volume i have to exit the fullscreen app, look in the taskbar for the volume icon, click it and then adjusting the slider which is in my opinion extremly annoying since i don't have dedicated volume buttons on the side of the laptop. So instead i would love to see a volume slider accessible just a left swipe away, i tried looking for advanced solutions like 3rd party apps, widgets and i even tried to code a widget myself that does something similar, but a native feature would be best.

Task Bar Compromised
After the last update, my taskbar is "cut in half" in other words, the top of the icons are visible, and I have to guess --mostly correct--what I am trying to click on. I have called Microsoft and the technician talked to me, I thought he would help, but the usual "click" and he was gone. I have tried all other remedies suggested, but nothing addresses this particular problem. I have tried moving the task bar to the side, rather than the bottom, but it still presents with only half. Any ideas what else I could try? Every update something else goes hinky, I think this is one of my lesser evils in a dozen of disasters, it is just annoying.
