Windows 10 - create a desktop icon? Help please 😀
When I used Windows 7 I could easily create an icon for my desktop. I do not seem to be able to do that now. Desktop icons are very helpful and speed up the connect process. Many thanks PS - I understand that Microsoft Edge doesn't allow desk-top shortcuts to be created. Have to revert several clicks to get to a website 🤔

In Windows 7, and before, all you need to do is right click on the desk top and choose "new" - "shortcut" from the menu, and then paste the full URL from the target website into the shortcut target box.
