Windows 10 update failure (to version 1909)
My Dell laptop has version 1809 and it keeps attempting to update to version 1909. It has failed over and over and over again. In the past, I have received this error code: 0xc1900101. Today I received this message: "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070057)" I have searched for a solution here, but they all seem very complicated. Can anyone refer me to something simple that will fix this? (I don't understand why Microsoft is sending updates that do not work).
Creating a New File From the Context Menu
You can create a new file from the context menu before opening a program that supports it. To do this: 1. Right-click the desktop, and then point to New. (Or right-click inside a folder in File Explorer, and then point to New.) 2. Choose whatever you want for creating a new file. For example, you could click Microsoft Word Document or Text Document. 3. Type the name of a new file and press ENTER.

How Do You Learn About Windows 10 Best?
Hello all, I have a genuine question that has no right or wrong answer. How would you learn to use your computer better? It doesn't matter the device, the operating system, or how long you've had it. Simply put, everyone learns differently and at their own pace, what format or style of learning works best for you? I'm a Microsoft trainer and have been providing computer training at all levels for years. As much as I love the job security of being needed... the ultimate goal is to make Windows 10 easy to use and navigate without support. So, do you learn best from step-by-step instructions in a clickable demo?Perhaps that's too time consuming and you'd prefer a quick notification with basic instructions? Do we appreciate links to support pages or pop-up instructions? Has the time finally come to bring back everyone's favorite digital assistant Clippy? What do you perceive as helpful versus intrusive? So please, take a second to sound off and thank you for your feedback!

Kernal DMA Protection in dell inspiron 14 5405
I have upgraded the OS from home to pro to Enterprise version 20H2 Then I checked the Hyper-V using the system info command from Cmd The output was compatible: 64-bit processor with second-level address translation (SLAT) is enable Virtual Machine Monitor Mode Extensions is enable Virtualization Enabled In Firmware (These require enabling from bios) Data Execution Prevention is enable I entered the bios by pressing F2 For Hyper-V the BIOS has one line which is: Virtualization Technology I have enabling it. Now I have verified Hyper-V requires using the system info command The result was Hyper-V Requirements: A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed. Meaning, Hyper-V is detected but!!!!! I tried Coreinfo When disable Virtualization Technology on bios HYPERVISOR - Hypervisor is present SVM * Supports AMD hardware-assisted virtualization NP * Supports AMD nested page tables (SLAT) SVM and slat mode is enable And when I enabling Virtualization Technology from the bios SVM and slat mode is disable Therefore, I cannot use Device Guard and Credential Guard.
Graphics issues not long after Windows 10 20H2 update
Icons were too large, fonts were difficult on the eyes because they looked out of kilter. After 10 hours of futile troubleshooting (incl. MS support agents) I decided to do the following: Start (right click) -> Device Manager -> Display & Adapter -> AMD Radeon 7480D (right click) -> Uninstall -> Tick box to remove completely -> Uninstall. I then shut down my PC & allowed Windows to find the right driver (which happened to be the old one!) and next morning hey presto! problem solved. I can’t tell you how relieved I was.
The Search in taskbar of computer suddenly becomes unusable.
[Emergencies] The Search feature in the taskbar at the bottom of my computer suddenly becomes unusable. Hi, I'm a Microsoft Independent Community Advisor, responsible for technical support for Windows in Microsoft Community in China. Today, we received reports from dozens of users about the "search function in the taskbar is not working properly" issue. Users reported that it would not pop up any search results when they entered anything in the search box. We don't know if this issue only occurs in China, but we have submitted feedback through the FeedBack Hub app. I sincerely wish Microsoft this issue as soon as possible and thank you all the Microsoft engineers for their efforts! Best wishes！ Ling Gao - Microsoft Windows Insider, Microsoft Independent Community Advisor.
