Creating a New File From the Context Menu
You can create a new file from the context menu before opening a program that supports it. To do this: 1. Right-click the desktop, and then point to New. (Or right-click inside a folder in File Explorer, and then point to New.) 2. Choose whatever you want for creating a new file. For example, you could click Microsoft Word Document or Text Document. 3. Type the name of a new file and press ENTER.

How Do You Learn About Windows 10 Best?
Hello all, I have a genuine question that has no right or wrong answer. How would you learn to use your computer better? It doesn't matter the device, the operating system, or how long you've had it. Simply put, everyone learns differently and at their own pace, what format or style of learning works best for you? I'm a Microsoft trainer and have been providing computer training at all levels for years. As much as I love the job security of being needed... the ultimate goal is to make Windows 10 easy to use and navigate without support. So, do you learn best from step-by-step instructions in a clickable demo?Perhaps that's too time consuming and you'd prefer a quick notification with basic instructions? Do we appreciate links to support pages or pop-up instructions? Has the time finally come to bring back everyone's favorite digital assistant Clippy? What do you perceive as helpful versus intrusive? So please, take a second to sound off and thank you for your feedback!

Rewards quizzes
Does anyone experience an issue with quizzes where before you have ever accessed one, it shows the first question has already been answered. This happens with "This or That" and all the others (whos names I don't recall) that are linked from the rewards page. In other words I go to the rewards page and it shows the daily set. If there is a quiz it shows I have already answered the first question which I never see. I (actually CDC Foundation) get the points but it is just weird. It has been happening for months and the MS customer support wants me to clear my browser (Edge) cache, which I have done multiple times. (Same issue if I access from IE). She has upped it several times and the supervisors seem to think that because I get the points it is no problem. I don't really care, I was just trying to notify them that there is an issue. If I am the only one, then of course it is my issue and I can live with it either way.
What drives you crazy
These are the top ten things that drive me crazy 10. Broken virtual machines 9. Flight Simulator 98 16bit incompatibility issues on x64 systems 8. Unformatted disk drives 7. Google treating teens and adults like toddlers (who needs suggestions on how to finish their sentence??) 6. Airplane passengers who watch movies instead of actually care about the airplane 5. Stuck on hold with tech support 4. macs and their useless operating system 3. People who don't like airplanes 2. Updates (I prefer series of individual releases) 1. People who think any two planes with two engines are the same What bothers you?
Surface GO has dead spots on touch scree
My Surface Go has 2 major dead spots on the touch screen. They cross the screen both vertically and another one horizontally. Without the touch functionality my GO is practically useless. I've seen This problem reported a lot here and in other support apps. I've tried all of the troubleshooting recommendations, including complete formatting and reload of Windows 10. I hesitate to purchase another GO or GO2 since it appears this may be a design flaw.I can do an out of warranty replacement but again I'm concerned about a design flaw. I really like the concept of the GO. Anyone have any ideas?
Problem logging in to one particular website
I login to my AWS account daily for my organization tasks and lately I am facing a weird behaviour. When I click on the link to open the Site, it auto logs in to my account and given an error. Initially I tried different browsers and the Incognito window but still gave the same error. Usually in incognito it is supposed to ask my Office credentials to login, but it would auto login and throw an error. I reached out to my IT support and they cleared the cache, cookies, temp files prefetch (a proper computer clean up) but I still got the error. We then tried to create a new windows profile and try there, but the issue remained the same. My AWS access is perfectly fine, as when I login to my colleague`s laptop, I am able to login and see my account. Now the advise I got from IT is to reinstall the OS which i really do not want! I would really appreciate if someone could suggest a fix to it! Thank You.
