A gut-level hunch of mine
Maybe it is just MY perception, but to me this appears to be intended as a tech/help forum rather than a soap-box forum. Maybe just my take on it, that the idea is to share info & hopefully offer some valuable response to computer questions, curiosities, interests or problems. Although, If I maybe DO have it viewed correctly, its focus & purpose sounds like a productive way to use the space. To me, it doesn't seem like a place to editorialise, vent or rant, but a place for appreciated input from which one can learn & grow as tech & computing evolve. Cheers, Drew

please beware of scammer(s)
hi all: I posted here a day ago and received a response. I quickly noticed that the person who replied was a scammer. I reported he/she. How to tell if the post is a scam? He/she posted a phone number and mentioned about tech support. Please remember, never post personal info. like phone numbers, emails, etc. If you see a reply or post with a phone number or something like tech support, please report it. Remember: Microsoft will never call people to fix issues unless people directly call Microsoft.

Windows Insiders
Hi Everyone! My name is Jennifer. I've been an Insider in the Fast Ring since April 2018. I just started Post University Monday, taking BS Computer Information Systems!! I didn't know a thing about computers a few years ago, until I got a refurbished Windows 7 & began experimenting, (I kinda blew that one up).. got a Windows 10 & discovered the Insiders Program... WOW!!! I was hooked!! Thanks, Microsoft for giving me the opportunity to become an Insider. I was able to decide on a learning path I love & go back to school at 46yrs old!!! My goal is to earn my Bachelors & go into Tech Support, I love troubleshooting & enjoy seeing smiles when I get someones laptop or phone up & running again ( I have become Tech Support for my entire family)!!! Wish me luck!!!

I'm just now learning about laptops and internet. HELP

Last Windows 10 update and Office Pro 2013
Ever since the last update to Windows 10, my Outlook crashes constantly for things ranging from not communicating with Excel and Adobe Pro to something as simple as trying to switch from Contacts tab to Mail tab. I have submitted logs and the re-created issues recordings several times via Feedback Hub. I have contacted Office support 4 times, and only once I thought the issues had been resolved. Well, most were - all except this crashing thing. With and without tech support I have uninstalled and reinstalled my Office 2013 at least five times. I wanted to go back to a restore point, but discovered that I have none now! Surely I am not alone in this predicament. I am losing productivity in my office and I am losing faith in this software.
