I came across this analysis written by Lifewire concerning these two giants. The paragraphs below are just two that attracted my attention. 'Microsoft has decided to discontinue EdgeHTML and other core components of Microsoft Edge. Instead, the company plans to create a new version of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium. Microsoft is going to build Microsoft Edge on the foundations of Chrome, meaning that key elements like the rendering engine will be identical. What's likely to remain different are the connected services. For example, you may still sync your bookmarks with your Microsoft account instead of a Google account, and Bing will likely be the default search engine for Microsoft Edge. A common platform will make it easier for developers to create content and apps that are consistent across the major browsers'. I have Windows on an external drive and i run it on my iMac
I installed Windows 10 on an external drive I use to Run from my desktop Mac. The drive has 1TB and general system speed and perfomance is good but some games, and PowerPoint slideshows go so lagged and slowly cause of the hardware. Any thing I could do for fixing that? Thaanks

Is Zoom safe to be used on Windows 10? 😕
I am due to participate in an important virtual meeting in the next few days. The preference of people appears to vote for Zoom. Given the privacy issues and the problem with zoom-bombing, I have serious concerns. I welcome your advice. Many thanks and keep well 😊
Do you leave your computer on overnight?
Hello One of my colleagues mentioned to me that she leaves her desktop computer on throughout the night. I realise that after 30 minutes or so (or whatever time you choose) the device goes to 'sleep'. I have never left my computer on all night - probably a habit of mine. So, I am left wondering whether contributors do leave their devices switched on throughout the night? 🤔. Views anyone?
