blue screen when connecting to 5G wifi with new adapter
Hi, I recently bought a new Wifi adapter and since then I've encountered BSODS when connecting to 5G network. I ran winbg and here is some pertinent information: Loading Dump File [C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP] Kernel Bitmap Dump File: Kernel address space is available, User address space may not be available. ************* Path validation summary ************** Response Time (ms) Location Deferred srv* Symbol search path is: srv* Executable search path is: Windows 10 Kernel Version 18362 MP (8 procs) Free x64 Product: WinNt, suite: TerminalServer SingleUserTS Edition build lab: 18362.1.amd64fre.19h1_release.190318-1202 Machine Name: Kernel base = 0xfffff803`29800000 PsLoadedModuleList = 0xfffff803`29c461b0 Debug session time: Mon Feb 8 17:47:34.232 2021 (UTC - 6:00) System Uptime: 0 days 3:07:26.860 Loading Kernel Symbols ------------------------------ Loading User Symbols PEB is paged out (Peb.Ldr = 0000001b`f89dd018). How secure is your computer?
Hello there amazing people. I just wanted to ask, what applications are you using to protect your computer. This can be, Antivirus software, ADBlockers, Cleaners, Download managers etc. I just want to see how everyone is protecting their Computers in their own way :'') Also, could you rate your computer protection from 1 to 10 (as 1 not secured at all, 10 being the best possible) If I had to asnwer I would give my self a pretty solid nine, as I am using BitDefender Total Security, ADGuard, Brave Browser (with Tor when needed), VPN and Free download manager, and most importnantly. Common sense π As I said all I want is to see how diferent people portect their computers, as in my opinion this is extremely importnat. Keep your self, your computer and your accounts safe at all cost :) Wish you all an amazing summer π

Trying to find a suitable App for video editing
Hello, I am interested in creating film reviews to upload to youtube. I am considering using Adobe apps such as Adobe Premiere or Premiere Rush. However, I am advised to download from the Microsoft store only to ensure the smooth and efficient running of my PC. I can't seem to find apps there that would be as suitable or useful for my purposes. A Microsoft or Google Play version of the Adobe products does not seem to be available, but there are plenty of tutorials and courses for Adobe products. This seems strange. Wondering could anyone help me with this issue. Perhaps there is a suitable app on the Microsoft store I am unaware of. I want to upload film clips with recordings of my own voice reviewing the films.

Inclusion for all disabilities π€©π―β
Many contributors on this platform recognise and applaud the 'Ease of Access' features on Windows 10. Microsoft teams are to be congratulated π with a personal thank you for me. From my very latest experience helping another visually impaired User to use Word in particular the screen reader and Narrator, I have the impression (I could be wrong) that marketing/raising awareness to disabled users could and should be improved. By way of explanation, the other day, I was able to assist a colleague to create a simple Word document. Imagine please π 'Anne' sitting at her desktop with the landline telephone stuck to my ear and my colleague doing the same in her own home. Although it was a prolonged process, I was able to help her discover some of the basic features such 'read aloud' and Narrator. When I discussed this experience with a community group, some people that they were 'afraid of breaking their computers' and not being adventurous enough because they were unsure of what they were doing. Something about technophobia perhaps. I replied that they would have to hit their computers with a very heavy item to break them. I also mentioned that operating systems are usually reliable and have their internal routines to resolve faults/errors. One person said that computers are an enigma to him. I replied that it is an enigma to me at times π π€£. But, there was a general sense from this conversation that computer technology was for the 'clever people' and those who had all their faculties. I disavowed that presumption with my colleagues/acquaintances. Quite strongly actually. But it has made me think about how we can change this 'perception'. So, I am challenging Microsoft (respectfully of course π€©π) to comprehensively engage with users who have disabilities ; raising their awareness of the opportunities that information technology affords. FAO Moderator - please do not hesitate to socialise this with MS colleagues. Many thanks all ππ

Do you use Timeline to maintain your work history?
How many of you utilize Timeline to keep track of your work? I use it on my device to see what documents I was working with on a specific day, and what information I might have been referencing with Edge. I can even keep track of projects in Visual Studio, allowing me to look back at all different types of work I've done. - Brandon C, Services Advisor from Microsoft Stores

Echo
Amazon is telling me I don't have security or firewall protection in order to use/connect with my Echo. Everything was fine until I canceled Amazon Prime. Now Echo/Alexa tells me "Can't connect" I spoke with DELL, and they told me the security that was pre installed on my desktop was all the security I needed and didn't need to "PURCHASE" more which is what Amazon was telling me I had to do.. After I canceled Amazon Prime, I installed just Amazon because Echo told me I had to have an Amazon acc't to use Echo. but not Prime. So now I'm faced with not being able to use Echo/Alexa ( that's what Amazon is telling me anyway ) I'm not in a position right now financially to purchase another security because of Covid, and my Windows Security seems to be doing a good job ! Can anyone help ??? Thank you, Rick
