Impressive Update To Microsoft Edge Appearance
Hello Windows Community, I really enjoy the New Small Transparent Icons on the home page of the Microsoft Edge Browser Version 85.0.564.44 (Official Build) (64-bit). I'm referring to the Quick Links Icons, toward the center of the page. (IMO) these new transparent Icons add a Much Cleaner Appearance to the Home screen. I sure hope this is what Microsoft has in mind for the new soon to come start menu In Windows 10. 🤔😊 What are your thoughts? Likes - Dislikes ?

Witajcie
Bardzo się cieszę, że Windows 10 skupił się na doskonaleniu Systemu a nie wytwarzaniem kolejnych wersji. To mnie przekonało, by bardziej go poznawać i są inspirujące rozwiązania w tym systemie . Pozdrawiam ekipę i całe rzesze współzaangażowanych osób. Skoro mowa o pytanie to ile zwykle czekaliście na rejestrację do forum ? Czekam już 4 godziny.

Does anybody know?
Does anybody know when the Windows Community Newsletter comes? I'm not getting it. I joined Windows Community 4 days ago. I'm supposed to get the newsletter daily, right?

My Ode to Outlook Client
I started out using Microsoft Internet and Mail, which was then morphed into Outlook Express which then became my main mail handler back in 1996. Over the years there have been many good and some not so good changes to the product. In 2010 when the whole of the internet really started to change, Microsoft made some of the worst changes to Outlook. IMHO Microsoft really screwed Outlook up. Functionally it was still the same, but navigationally it was a total mess.( Yeah, I’m talking about the original “Ribbon”) I guess I wasn’t the only one that though so, because what we have now is an easy to navigate tool email client again! Now that I am retired, I still find Outlook invaluable. While there have been many fantastic enhancements to the email side of Outlook over the years, Microsoft in their infinite wisdom did not change the one that was and still is invaluable to me. It is so invaluable that it keeps me from using their other Outlook, or the Mail and Calendar. You see in the Calendar when you set up an appointment or meeting, you are given the option of setting a reminder. Now while you can set a reminder in the other Microsoft Mail products, those reminders are preset, and cannot be change. With Outlook if you need a reminder in 45 minutes, or if you need one in 2.5 hours, you can change that to that time or for that matter to any time that you may need. Microsoft, thank you for not changing that. If you were to bring that one feature to your other email programs, apps, whatever you want to call them, then even an ‘ole $%art like me might start using them, although I doubt it though, muscle memory you know! Really enjoy the mail Quick Steps as well

Create Free Space 👍👍 A Nice Tip❗
As many know there is or there might be a Windows.old folder on your Sys drive. If, all is good AND you have no need for anything from the previous Windows, as in, for example, before & after 21H1... that BIG Windows.old folder can be removed. The TIP here for you is that there is a really easy way to do this... the OS will do it for you via this path: > Settings > System > Storage. Under Storage Sense click on Configure SS or run it now. Down at the bottom of the page you will see Free Up Space Now. Check the box & hit the button. Will a take a few (the folder is BIG), but when finished the unneeded Windows.old folder will be gone and you will have created a BIG chunk of precious free space on your OS drive 😁👍👍 Certainly look for this folder & do the above after the H1 & H2 Updates. Or after upgrading to Windows 10 If you use MCT to update you will have the folder after completion Cheers, Drew

Elementary question
Hi Community, Having been refused over a number of submissions to recover my Microsoft Primary Account, I am wondering if my email outlook.com may not be country specific for the UK user or should outlook.co.uk be right or both? Any answers for a Microsoft 10 beginner would be appreciated. I am a past user of 7 and then 8.1 but 10, I just find rather user unfriendly for an old codger of 74. Regards, Les.
