Pick and Choose Update Packages
Please, it would be a life saver for many if users could pick and choose update packages. I had a big headache today uninstalling an update that led my Lenovo desktop to blue screening right at sign in and when I want to restart, it crashes immediately. Worse, I couldn't enter safe mode with my USB recovery drive because the PC didn't detect it. Fortunately, after trying each single USB ports I could boot into my USB drive and uninstall the update. Oh, there should be an easier way to access safe mode too. I remember with Windows 7 there was such a thing like boot menu. Yep, that one less second at boot costs me hours of productivity. Simply genius...
+1 Issue with Your Phone
How can I eliminate the above noted issue when using "Your Phone" on my windows 10 version 1909. I have asked for and received assistance, remotely, from two (2) Microsoft techs with no results. Am I the only one experiencing this issue? If so, how can I resolve it. My phone is a Note 8. My cotacts do not ontain the "+1" designation. It only appears on the PC, Acer 5, when I attempt to make a call. HELP!!!

Microsoft is not just in the business of selling software!
I tend to think that Microsoft is an 'Agent of Change'. 💯✔ With each evolution of its operating systems and Cloud developments, there quickly follows a change revolution. MS and its Windows is a bridge for where we are now and where we wish/need/want to go. This kind of bridge manifests itself in many ways, for example, this Windows Community and the Insider Programme. We can all get involved in design, notwithstanding our various levels of skills, expertise (or otherwise) and motivation. Our feedback and challenges to Microsoft makes their teams stronger and even more dynamic. When I first challenged the Moderator of this platform concerning more features to aid disabled people, I had no idea at the time that I was, in fact, on the bridge - never occurred to me 🙃 Duh! Motivated by what the Moderator indicated, I am now designing a full spec document for a BOT to hopefully enhance the Windows experience for blind people. Whether or not I will be able to bring this idea to fruition is in the 'laps of the gods'. However, I will apply my best endeavours to make a blind person's experience of Windows a positive and rewarding experience. By contributing to this platform and the Insider Programme, you are on the bridge and by posting your views/comments/questions and solutions you are an Enabler and Influencer. You will motivate others to do the same. I personally think this is so cool. 😎🤩 We are the Users and what we think is, I believe, important to Microsoft. At least, this is my personal experience. I welcome your different opinions. Many thanks for taking the time to read this posting - see you on the bridge 😊 Keep well.
Memory Use in low-memory devices
With each feature update (since 1607, at least), Windows 10 uses more memory (and disk space, but that's another day). It's getting to where 50-60% of RAM in a tablet/2-in-1 (2GB RAM, Win10 Home 32-bit) or older laptop (4GB RAM, Win10 Home 64-bit) is taken for a multitude of services and other tasks most of which just site there - seldom actually using CPU cycles after system startup. Yes, we should buy new computers with more RAM, on a never-ending cycle. Sorry, not going to happen in the real world where budgets are tight. What Windows needs is to be more cognizant of what the machine it's running on has available, and adjust its running footprint to match. A good rule of thumb might be: 50% of RAM when not running apps explicitly opened by the user is probably too much. If I don't have a lot of RAM, load those services only when they're needed and unload them afterward. Yes, that would slow down things when the services are needed and have to be reloaded, but the overuse of RAM is slowing things down anyway by pushing things into swap when any significant app is opened. Using swap is a real pain with spinning rust, but not great with eMMC or slower SSDs either. Look in Task Manager sometime and note how much is sitting there at the bottom of the process list nearly all the time, using no CPU once the system has stabilized following startup; those tasks and services should be candidates for killing during normal use. At minimum (assuming a reasonably-sized C: drive), those should be swapped out after a certain amount of "dead" time without waiting for something else to be loaded that forces the issue (and slows the load of a task that is actually needed). ??? How to personalize the lock screen more
I want to know if I can personalize my lock screen. I want to have weather summary, a mini-calendar, my to-do list, etc. accessible from the lock screen. It would make things a lot easier. Can I? If I can, How?
advance option: Automatic Startup Repair failed
I would like it if the Windows team can create a fix for the issue regards to startup repair failed. I had an issue where my device could not load the welcome screen. I used my USB to enter advance option, then went to the option for startup repair. It tried to repair but couldn't. (startup repair couldn't repair your PC).
