I have flat bed HP scanner that Windows 10 doesnt recognize
I have an older HP flatbed scanner ScanJet 3570C that worked well with Windows Vista but now can't seem to get Windows 10 recognize it. What options do I have, given that my laptop has Windows 10? I can't find any drivers on the HP website, or on Windows for that matter.
Creating a batch file for Windows Recovery Environment
It's easy to restart your computer to Windows Recovery Environment from a batch file. In order for this to work, you need a batch file saved by using Notepad and running it as an administrator. You only need to do this if you're experiencing problems with your computer, and you can use tools like System Restore or Start-up Repair while on Windows Recovery Environment.
When I donwload a RAR file its broken in Windows 10
Last 2 months when I downloaded a rar file inside movie, it had got for Example "Testing m18blckbch\Black.Beach.2020.m1080p.NF.WEB-DL.x264.DUAL.TR.SPA.mkv FAILED Error: Bad data in file "m18blckbch\Black.Beach.2020.m1080p.NF.WEB-DL.x264.DUAL.TR.SPA.mkv" - possible wrong/missing password Irrecoverable Error: Bad data detected (or incorrect password). " Error.. But I downloaded same link from my phone now. It hasn't got any error and good. I tried with winrar and winzip. Same error. Tested with AppDiff two files many differenceses. But when I download any zip or rar file inside eny programme there is not eny problem. What is Wrong.. AGGIORNAMENTO WINDOWS VERSIONE 20H2
salve a tutti sto scrivendo qui perché ho un problema con il mio PC fisso perché non riesco ad aggiornarlo all'ultima versione di Windows rilasciata (versione 20H2). Spiego nel dettaglio l'errore/problema che ho riscontrato: andando su impostazioni vado su aggiornamento e sicurezza e installo la nuova versione, il primo caricamento è veloce il secondo impiega più di un'ora. A caricamento finito premo sul tasto riavvia e quando si riaccende il PC mi spunta schermata blu con le due opzioni spegni il PC o risoluzione dei problemi (io non premo risoluzione dei problemi perché non so dove mettere le mani) quindi spengo il PC e si riavvia. Quando mi ritrovo sul desktop nella sezione notifiche mi dice che c'è stato un problema con l'aggiornamento e mi viene riportato un codice di errore (0xc1900101); ho letto su internet che questo codice di errore riguarda dei driver che vanno in conflitto col sistema ma non so quali possano essere questi driver (avevo cancellato anche quelli del joistick PS4 ma niente da fare). Vi prego ho bisogno del vostro aiuto sono disperato.
I have Windows on an external drive and i run it on my iMac
I installed Windows 10 on an external drive I use to Run from my desktop Mac. The drive has 1TB and general system speed and perfomance is good but some games, and PowerPoint slideshows go so lagged and slowly cause of the hardware. Any thing I could do for fixing that? Thaanks
Would you recommend purchasing a Windows on ARM 2 in 1?
Is anybody using a Windows on ARM, Always Connected, 2 in 1, like the HP Envy x2, Lenovo Miix 630, Asus Nova Go, Samsung Galaxy Book 2, Lenovo Yoga c630? If so, how is it performing? How is the battery life? Any compatibility issues with particular apps? Would you recommend? Other thoughts?
Windows timeline - unable to edit office document
Hi, Whenever I open an office document via windows timeline, it opens the file via my browser (as the file is stored on my one drive), but it wont let me edit it. Each time I try and press the edit button I get the following message: "We're having trouble connecting to the server. If these keeps happening, contact your help desk" Does anyone have any ides? Thanks in advance.
Windows 10 and SSDs
My PC, about a year old, has a 128GB SSD, which is of course my C-drive. It was almost full,tt all but about 6 GB, because that's the way Dell set it up. Much of it is system but a lot is apps and there are also temp files. When the latest W10 update came along it insisted I did not have enough space on to install it. It said I could use the D drive but then seemed to ignore that and I had to start clearing apps and temp data off the c drive, with what damage I am not yet sure. It took ages and after I had done the update the c drive is no fuller than before the update so it looks like the update was using the c drive for workspace. Does MS not know about SSDs and the fact that they are likely to be full or do I blame Dell for the way they set it up. Of course once an app is on the SSD it is near impossible to move it to the D drive (which is near empty). D Quinn

i have dell latitude e6430 with windows 10 version 20h2 and as always i was doing some regular updates to windows 10 20h2 but today when i did the updates many updates were installed but one update was stuck at 46% and then after that my laptop started to hang then i rebooted my laptop and then after 1 hour i opened my settings app and opened windows update inside it and then it said 'There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800f080a)' so please help me coz it awfull
