Thanks for the help with my New Computer!
I have it up and running! It is taking a little time getting it closer to how I want all the set points configured but I have made progress. No serious compatibility issues, yet hahaha. The i9 9900K is everything I had hoped it would turn out to be ! Linking the 2, GTX 1070 Ti, GPUs with, RTX & SLi, has lined out very nicely. I am hitting the 5 GHz speed with the CPU overclocked with the onboard AI. The Corsair H115i RGB PLATINUM CPU Liquid cooler is the one I finely went with. I did go a little overkill with the 1600 WATT Rosewill HERCULES, power supply but it does what it is meant to do and the deal I found was just right. I am going with a Samsung 250GB 3D NAND M.2 SSD for start up and Optane Persistent Memory for the built in Raid platform. Looking into getting a cooling block for the, 64 GB RAM. At least all 4 sticks are the same. I unlinked my windows 10 pro for workstation from my other PC since it is a single Volume and have it installed on the New PC but it will not activate to original in any of the 4 ways I am aware of and it can only be installed by a commercial Tech but since I have it installed maybe a regular tech can activate it! I love the Cougar, PANZER MAX, Full Case! Over all, I had a blast getting it all worked out to my satisfaction. I still have a long way to go but I am close to what I want. Overcoming the learning curve has been a challenge but I memorized 72,000 words before I became a past master, which gives me an edge on how to proceed on just about any task.

in place upgrade vs. reinstall
Sometimes, our devices may run into issues that doing the sfc /scannow command or creating a new user account, etc. will not fix the issues. Here are two popular methods to fix problems. 1) in place upgrade: What is an in place upgrade? It is basically reinstalling Windows while we get to keep our files, folders, settings, etc. It basically gives us a fresh couple of the Windows system files. Meaning, we might do the sfc /scannow command and it found corrupt system files that cannot be repaired. The in place upgrade will give us fresh system files. pros: We do not lose any files, folders, settings, etc. when choosing the in place upgrade. cons: When choosing this method, it will take a while to complete. It requires several restart of the device. If the device has a good CPU, etc., then it will be a little quicker but will still take time to complete. p.s. After the in place upgrade is finished, we might have to update few drivers again. Usually, the in place upgrade will revert the newer drivers to the previous ones. Remember, it will create Windows.old. That will take a lot of space. The best way is to go to storage under settings and Storage Sense to delete Windows.old. You can free up over 10GB of temporary files and can regain some C drive disk space. 2) reinstalling Windows 10: What this does is basically reinstalling Windows 10 again. Giving us a fresh start. pros: This method is usually quicker than the in place upgrade. cons: The cons of choosing this method is it wipes out everything. p.s. When choosing this method, I generally only wipe out the C drive but do not wipe out the D drive. If you want to choose this command, I suggest you to copy everything in the desktop or if you have put files, folders, etc. in the C drive to a portable drive. Also, download the bookmark from Edge, Chrome, etc. and save it to a portable drive. It is because after reinstallation of Windows 10, they will be gone.

Ways to Export Certain Registry Keys to the .REG File
WARNING: Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE) is a very powerful tool that lets you directly modify the registry. However, incorrectly using Registry Editor can cause serious, system-wide problems including a hard disk corruption, general instability, or the inability to use your computer. It may be necessary for you to reinstall your operating system to correct these problems. Microsoft does not support modifying the registry. Use this tool at your own risk. You can export certain registry keys to the .REG file. The .REG file can be opened for editing by right-clicking it and clicking Edit. Method 1: Registry Editor ---------------------------- 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R. 2. Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) and press ENTER. 3. Navigate to the following keys. For example, you could navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Fax. 4. On the File menu, click Export. 5. Type the name and click Save. 6. Close Registry Editor. Method 2: The REG Command ---------------------------------- 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R. 2. Type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) and press ENTER. 3. Type "reg export key1\key2 [drive:][path]filename.reg" (without the quotation marks) and press ENTER. For example, you could type "reg export hkcu\software\microsoft\windows\dwm c:\data\dwm.reg" (without the quotation marks) and press ENTER.

A Sense of Speed
Maybe I'm not alone in feeling, noticing a sensation of speed. The scenario is: Edge Dev Version 91.0.831.1 running on 20H2 OR Windows 10 Dev 21337. 1. 20H2 is of course flaying along, as always. 2. 21337, on a not terribly robust VM, is, ALSO, flying along better than many Builds & certaily much better than the last couple. 3. On both 20H2 and the IB, this version of Edge Dev definitely seems snappier & more responsive than ever and or than Edge GA. 4. Maybe it's Sleeping tabs, maybe someone is writing code with caffine in the ink, maybe it's my imagination, maybe it's not Cheers, Drew

Where can I learn more about the Event Log?
I have figured out the basics in Event Log, but I want to be good at it. Where can I find what the error codes mean? And, how to fix them? The link you always get to help you just take me too a search page. Most of the times I dont even know what to search for. This is probably a lot of information for your engineers, for me it just makes me feel like an idiot: Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost_10.0.18999.1_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy SID (S-1-15-2-155514346-2573954481-755741238-1654018636-1233331829-3075935687-2861478708). This security permission can be changed with the Component Services administrative tool. Component service I get, but it doesn't help me very much when I don't have the slightest idea of what to change. It would be so much easier to provide relevant and good reports in Feedback Hub if I could find a way to learn more. Sincerely LokePus

How do I select my Browser for my PC ?
Depending on the speed, privacy, performance, regular updates, security etc which browser will be good to run on Windows 10 ?

Why do I have to keep signing on to One Drive?
I have Windows 10. Ever since an update in September I get these message several times a week from notifications-it used to be every day. "We need to fix your Microsoft account (most likely your password changed). (NOT SO) Select here to fix it in shared experience settings". Sometimes I get the message that I must be using a new device. (NOT SO) Anyway I got to setting and check "Fix" Then I sign in with my email and password. Then I have to wait to get an email with a code. If I use my computer, I have to sign in to my email which wants 2 step verification so I sign into another email to get that code. On an on it goes. It is very frustrating. Even after going through ALL the steps, if I want to save a Word Document (Word 2019 not 365) I have to sign in to the cloud again. The nerdy computer help for microsoft can't understand my question of she will connect me with a person, then after a few minutes it times out and says try again later. I am at my wits end and considering buy an Apple Computer.

How can I see what happened to my computer while I was away?
Can event log be deleted in Windows 10? Hi, I was away from my computer for approx. an hour and want to understand what I can do to ensure nothing was done with my computer while I was away. NB: The machine would have been password protected at the time and locked. My first point of call was running an event log "eventvwr.msc". I have two questions: 1. Can system login be deleted? If so, is there something I can do to show it was deleted? 2. What suggestions are out there for checking anything was done suring this period? I really appreciate your thoughts and comments.
