Surprise (maybe) 2 Unneeded Items
There are 2 things in Windows 10 one can either not have or hardly ever 'use'. And these may surprise you. We have gorgeous wallpapers, creative wallpapers, wallpapers that keep changing AND OR personal wallpapers (personal/people photos)... nothing one wants covered up with icons. Well, 1, they don't need to show and there's probably none that really need to be there in the 1st place 𤣠Doesn't really serve any purpose, except maybe unnecesary redundancy... all accessible elsewhere. AND desktop is not a storage place. And, btw, if one thinks there are any desktop icons of actual interest (ever), can enable the Desktop tool bar on the taskbar đ So, no, desktops need not have ANY icons. I saved the best for last đ Admittedly, WITH the Applications window, the need for Start, in Win10, is as rare as hen's teeth. Hardly ever any need to go through it or bother opening it for anything. AND, still, more quickly & directly other ways & with fewer clicks. Win+X, Jumplists, the Applications window, hit Win & type, well begin typing, 10 is faster than you are đ and Pinning. Everything is at one's fingertips as opposed to going through, scrolling through, digging through, "drilling down" in or with Start, unnecessarily. Surprise, maybe Cheers, Drew
