I have Windows on an external drive and i run it on my iMac
I installed Windows 10 on an external drive I use to Run from my desktop Mac. The drive has 1TB and general system speed and perfomance is good but some games, and PowerPoint slideshows go so lagged and slowly cause of the hardware. Any thing I could do for fixing that? Thaanks
Setting up virtual machine running an older Windows version
I'd like to try running virtual machines with Windows XP, 95, and 3.11 to access old software that no longer runs in Windows 10 - Things not even compatibility modes will run. Anyone have some guides for that?
Photos on Windows 10
Usually not a problem. I lost my laptop hard drive and am using Husbands now. My question is; if my photos are saved in photos for windows10, Why can I not access all of my photos from the laptop that were also saved in all photos??
Office 365 error on windows 10
Have tried support and the tech couldn't understand the issue.... it seemed he felt it wasn't an issue or didn't understand at all. In summary. personal Microsoft ( consumer) account with an attached an o365 account several ways Workplace account Windows 10 mail Credential manager (confirmed there, not modified) Outlook 16 every time reboot or recover from sleep I have to re-authenticate through the o365 portal to go daddy site for email, onedrive, SP designer etc. Office apps don't prompt consistently but come up with odd webapp / element login prompts occasionally that use the std o365 interface. I have recreated profiles, refreshed my surface to test a fresh setup. removed and re-added all apps and workplace accounts etc. but cant seem to get SSO / pass though auth. I'm having a hard time on the forum here finding anyone with the exact same issue which troubles me. anyone have any idea what I do next? computer viruses not removed with windows defender products
windows 7-8-10: Windows defender does not work well as an antivirus program . I am wondering why MS doesnt tell customers to buy an antivirus program and continue to use it. i found an ISASS.exe in my computer . it took over about 30 percent of the folders. i tried to quaranine it and report it . i couldnt it attacks the security options first and greyed them out so i couldnt submit the problem. i took those computers to BEST BUY STAPLES OFFICE MAX and other private tech services. no one could actually remove the virus. i bought a new hard drvie at BEST BUY.. the computer was there for 3 days. At the store on pick up a hacker started to elongate the scroller button on the scroll bar side. i told the tech the virus was still in my system. they charged me $250 anyway.. said if there was a problem bring it back. i tried four times no one removed it !! NEVER take it out of the store if you see the same issue. I want to know why MS never helps targeted customers get those viruses out and why you dont have a more aggressive program to remove those kind of thnigs. I SASS.exe is not new but Windows defender in 7-8 10 doesnt remove any of it. we are brainwashed not to be concerned about it. thats how you end up buying three more computers cause the original one is over taken and crashed.
