Using your PC as a mobile hotspot
Normally, many smartphones and iPhones allow you to use either as a mobile hotspot. However, with your Windows 10-based PC, you need a mobile data connection in order to use it as a mobile hotspot. If you enable it, you can share a Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or mobile data connection. Keep in mind that it will use data from your data plan. Just a reminder: a mobile data normally comes from many SIM cards. To use your Windows 10-based PC as a mobile hotspot: 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + I and click "Network & Internet" > "Mobile hotspot." 2. For "Share my Internet connection from," choose the Internet connection that you want to share. 3. Select "Edit," enter a new network name and password, and then click "Save." 4. Enable "Share my Internet connection with other devices." 5. Use your other device to connect to your Windows 10-based PC's mobile hotspot.

Win. 10 20H2 - in place-upgrade bug (temporary workaround)
hi all: I started a conversation stating having an issue with the in place-upgrade while in Windows 10 20H2. Tried to fix an issue with it but cannot select the keep files, folders, etc. option. In the Microsoft community, I was given a link that this is a bug in Windows 10 20H2 and Microsoft will provide a fix for the bug in the December update Tuesday. Here is a temporary workaround to fix issues with your device but do not want to re-install Windows 10: 1) go to control panel 2) click on, Uninstall a program 3) click on View installed updates 4) right click on, Feature Update to Windows 10 20H2 via Enablement... (it will state: Uninstall. Let it run) 5) Windows is uninstalling Windows 10 20H2. After it is done, click on restart. You will be back to Windows 10 2004. You do an in place upgrade with the installation media. (if you have a USB with Windows 10 2004 or 20H2) I in place-upgrade with the 20H2 installation media. I am back at 20H2 and the issue I had is gone.

Your favorite keyboard shortcuts?
A lot of people know stuff like CTRL + C (Copy) and CTRL + V (Paste), but what are your favorite keyboard shortcuts? I'll go first... 🤔🤣👀🐱👓🌹 EMOJIS! By pressing the Windows key (the button next to Alt) and . at the same time it will bring up the emoji keyboard. Windows doesn't really tell you this anywhere, so many people don't know it exists. Spice up a dry e-mail with some expressive faces. 😉 Anyway, what are your favorite keyboard shortcuts?

Four Funky Future Features (say that 5 times fast 😂)
1. Eco Mode - An Edge/OS thing manageable in Task Manager and already in Windows Dev Insider Builds) 2. Performance Mode (coming to Edge; some Canaries have it, now) 3. Search image in Sidebar (new & supposed to be in Dev & Canary, now) 4. Workspaces - some Canaries have it, but coming to Edge... this is bloody brilliant❗ Tab groups will or do work within Workspaces. Can compare to having multiple desktops in the OS... Workspaces within a single Edge window AND can even name them. Oh & with Edge GA Series 94, its update interval is changing from 6 wks to 4. Cheers, Drew
