Hiding a file
To hide a file: 1. Go to a folder that has a file in File Explorer. 2. Double-click a file while holding down ALT. 3. Click to check the Hidden box, and then click OK. Note: You won't be able to see a file if you go to the same folder in File Explorer. However, you can go to File Explorer Options, and then click Show hidden files, folders, and drives on the View tab.
Problem with Outlook.com
I have a strange problem when using the Outlook mail app, both the on-line version and when using Outlook in the Mail app. I use Gmail as a client in the Mail app, when I receive mail that was originated by a Gmail user or sent to my Gmail address, I cannot reply to those emails or forward them if I use Outlook. I get an error msg and Outlook will not send them. I have to be on the alert to notice if the mail was sent to my Gmail address before I reply or forward. I've checked my settings for both Gmail and Outlook, but I cannot determine what would cause this problem. It started about three months ago after one of the updates to Windows 10. I'm using the latest version of Windows 10, S0h2. When using Outlook in the Office 365 app it seems to work fine. Does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks in advance.
Creating a shortcut in a folder
1. On File Explorer, navigate to a folder in the navigation pane. 2. Right-click inside a white window, point to New, and then click Shortcut. 3. Type [drive:][path]filename.ext and press ENTER. (For example, you could type "c:\documents\reports.docx" (without the quotation marks)). 4. Type the name of a shortcut and press ENTER.

You are READY to UPDATE. I did this to the unit having ISSUE/s (Some update files are missing or have problems. We’ll try to download the update again later) before I made an update. EXPERMENTING AS LONG YOU DONT DELETE/ERASE/RENAME/CHANGE/DISABLED ANYTHING(SYSTEM FILES, COMPONENTS, WINDOWS FILES & SERVICES, THE REGISTRY).
Microsoft 365, thème office "encouleur"

The last update appears to kill my system.
Not complaining. I got it fixed by resetting pc back to default windows. Fresh install. The error was like cannot access boot drive. Just passing it along incase I'm not the only one.
Can't Stop Hovering
Hi, First I must apologize because I asked this question yesterday and someone answered with a solution but when I went back to read it at the end of the day. Your Phone
On one hand I really like this app, BUT! on the other hand I hate it. There are three reasons for this: 1: I cannot delete either messages or photos directly from the app. Why Not? 2: I deleted a couple of message 2 days ago, and they are still showing up in the My Phone app WHY? 3: The conversation list on the You Phone app does not match what is on my Phone Why Not? plug in monitor ? my laptop was operating both but updated
i was using a acer plug in monitor with my acer aspire 3 laptop and this morning when I started, powered up my monitors had switched from second screen only to extend . so half the screen was on each monitor and all by itself ! I checked for updates and restarted my laptop hoping it would revert to my original setup but instead it cut out my additional monitor all together ! saying on the 2nd screen "no signal " ahhh what's happened. I cant seem to get my laptop to recognize the other monitor even though it is plugged in directly. Anybody know what I have to do ?
HELP..-files locked after updating windows7 to windows10
I recently updated my windows 7 to windows 10. Realised my google drive folder, in window.old (that has been carried in from windows 7) seem to be encrypted, it has a lock sign. I have tried decryption it by various methods available, nothing seems to work, (changed security attribute, changed ownership, tried command prompt decryption) however no luck :( . The folder was not synced with the cloud hence a lot of files in the folder were sitting on my local drive. Now I can't access them at all. I understand window.old folder will automatically delete after 30 days, and I have about 10 days left to get access to these otherwise all may be deleted. Any help to rescue these would be much appreciated. Note: 1- I had backed up this folder on my external hard drive, and have realised the same issue appearing on the external hd. 2- This particular folder is google drive folder, however it wasn't synced as the capacity was exceeded. I hope the issue is understandable, and I hope someone will have solution on this as I am completely exhausted trying to recover these work files.
