Sticky Notes Insights not working as web site shows
I love the new version of Sticky Notes and how it interfaces with all of my devices. I use it constantly! But I haven't been able to completely use Insights. Here's my notes from the FAQs for Sticky Notes. I am using a Surface Pro 4 (OS build 18363.1016) and Surface GO (OS build 19041.450) and Sticky Notes 3.7.142.0 Does anyone have a similar experience? A piece of advice from an old IT Pro in 2021
If you have an interest in IT; however that may manifest itself & to whatever degree it is pursued... be it a 'hobbyist', a helpful parent involved with a child-student's learning or ESPECIALLY youth considering a career in IT. Learn to write code. I wish I had. It's easier than Folks think and as time and tech march on it is a valuable skill. We used to learn the '3 Rs', now we teach coding. Hard to grasp, maybe, but it IS the future. MS has heaps of learning tracks. The apps that, frankly, anyone can (learn to) build permeate every aspect of life. Computing & software development is growing exponentially. Huge career potential in the years ahead... not IT per se, but IT in everything, every field of endeavour or expertise & throughout society. Learn to write code. Let's you write your own ticket. Doctor makes an app that helps diagnose & treat THEIR OWN patients. Banker one that tracks & grows their customers' finances. Virtual 'Twins' & AI that can track, analyse & manage supply, manufacture & distribution from growing ingredients to final consumption. This is NOT exclusively MS Store apps for Windows. Win. 10 disk cleanup: How to delete temporary files
hi all: I wonder why is it that when it gets to like the 7th or 8th day, especially day 7, going to Storage and Temporary Files, I noticed the temporary files is there. It doesn't happen from day 1 to day 6. I have to clean it up. But it still appears in disk cleanup. I actually delete temporary files from manually before going to Storage. I thought it could be a bug in Windows 10. Wondering under temporary files, why it will not state 0 bytes in disk cleanup. For mine, it will state 2.07 MB. For some of you, it might state GB. I searched online and found a way for the temporary files to state 0 bytes in disk cleanup. Here are the steps: reminder, the following steps involve registry and do not modify other things, as it might cause serious issues with your device. 1. Please type reg under search and it will show Registry editor. Please click on run as administrator. 2. Then, go to, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Temporary Files 3. In the right-pane, double-click LastAccess. 4. Set the value data for LastAccess to 10. That is what I did for mine. After you are finished and go back to Storage and Temporary Files or the disk cleanup, you will notice under temporary files, it will state 0 bytes. A reminder: Even though it might state like 2.07 MB under temporary files, but when you actually delete the files manually, it will have no affect at all. You don't lose disk space because of it. Hope this helps.

HAS THIS EVER COME ACROSS ANYONES MIND? Well it mine. i had this feeling i was being watched. i spent days and hours searching my coMPUTER. I DID FIND WAYS TO see what family member or live in is doing. there are apps that can be downloaded that can watch every move you make without being in family group, for instance ever see your window page change maybe a different picture,or a picture you have chosen of personal or from micro store? well behind is a peculiar thing... hidden try hiding all icons on your window screen. i did and found a small icon of an app i downloaded. what is this doing here? also being redirected from your search engine.? i am microsoft .. in my history said it was amazon.. so i deleted amazon. my search engines are really not my search engines.. This is an act from live ins that think it's funny .. i say sneaky. they say i am administrator and yes my title says so but I am not .i cant even get security on my outlook email,, when i click it it says you can not get this for any of your emails!!! what! I try to get answers but you all know what happens... ok try looking deeper into your computers wether individual employee owner or student ,,,,k? .Also try this double click anything at the bottom will say inspect well inspect it.

Sincеrеly, Amazon Suppοrt.' 🤷♂️ i took a look at it bcoz i actually ordered something on Sunday, turns out not to be an actual notification, but a click bait~ A warning for all of you to check their emails not on a mobile device, you sometimes will not see the sender of the email, and thus the email will appear more convincing. This very email has yet been sent to 'customer@live.com' , which obviously is not me, in what way did someone manage to redirect emails is a puzzle for myself, but the fact remains it found it's way to my junk folder automatically. Well dome Outlook for categorizing it as junk, but not so well for even sending it to me 😑
Unsupported disk layout for UEFI firmware, 0xc1900201
When I try to install the W10 version 2004 feature update I get the following error: Windows cannot be installed because this PC has an unsupported disk layout for UEFI firmware. 0xc1900201 I have a 2018 Dell XPS 15 9570 laptop.32GB, 1.0TB SSD, most current BIOS update from Dell that shows UEFI as the BIOS mode. Microsoft is telling me I have to do a full scratch install of the current shipping version of W10 and then install the 2004 feature update, thus, I have to do a full backup and restore, then reinstall all of the apps. Is this actually necessary? I'm hoping there's another way to do this. I've worked for software companies in the past and often times Tech Support resorts to a full remiage of the cmputer in order to fix a problem. Are they just lazy or for real? Your help is greatly appreciated.
Seniors and Comprehension of Tech and Mobile Devices
My close friends and family are over 60 and they all have a problem with change. If anything requires an update forget about it. Repeating myself has no effect. Many times over I refer them to manuals, guides and youtube videos. Every aspect of any gadget with a screen is just difficult. I need advice. Is wanting to know how to learn how things are done and make things i create work for me, that challenging to a senior? Clicking download eighteen times and still can not find it would make myself mad enough to learn how avoid such problems. How can they learn the absolute basics of everything? Formatting, hierarchy skills, terms, commands, actions and etc.? If they were a horse and i led this horse to water,,, Do i have to accept the fact of these issues or try harder like ,,,,what? My next attempt is this windows community program. I reviewed the videos and they cover a vast number of things. sometimes i wish there was a "show follow the numbers step by step" option.
