Pick and Choose Update Packages
Please, it would be a life saver for many if users could pick and choose update packages. I had a big headache today uninstalling an update that led my Lenovo desktop to blue screening right at sign in and when I want to restart, it crashes immediately. Worse, I couldn't enter safe mode with my USB recovery drive because the PC didn't detect it. Fortunately, after trying each single USB ports I could boot into my USB drive and uninstall the update. Oh, there should be an easier way to access safe mode too. I remember with Windows 7 there was such a thing like boot menu. Yep, that one less second at boot costs me hours of productivity. Simply genius...

Edge on Linux
No one asked Microsoft to port its Edge browser to Linux. Indeed, very few people asked for Edge on Windows. But, here it is. So, how good -- or not -- is it? First, you should know that the experts always knew Edge would run on Linux. Today's Microsoft Edge isn't the one that first shipped. This model, which went into beta on Windows last year, is built on the open-source Chromium codebase. Besides being the foundation for Google Chrome, Chromium is the bedrock that almost all web browsers, with the exception of Firefox, are built on these days. So, bringing Edge over to Linux isn't anything as difficult as, say, bringing on-premise Microsoft Office to Linux. Now, the first beta of Edge on Linux is here. The new release comes ready to run on Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and openSUSE Linux distributions. It should run on any Linux using DEB or RPM packaging. Microsoft is planning to release weekly builds, just as it does with the Dev Channel builds for other platforms. To get started, users can download and install a .deb or .rpm package directly from the Edge Insider site. This also configures a system to get future automatic updates. If you don't trust Microsoft that much, you can also install Edge via Microsoft's Linux Software Repository for Microsoft Products. More detailed instructions are available on Microsoft's Edge-on-Linux blog post. Data from ZDnet

How do feel about mixer shutting down?
It really sucks apparently beacuse mixer is good, and now it's being transitioned to Facebook Gaming. I really wished mixer was going to get better because it was, but sadly business decisions made it shut down due to a lack of audience.

Skype
Hello Windows Community, Does anyone know if Skype is going to be phased out in the near future? I know at my job, we use both Skype and Teams for messaging and team communication. We have been told that we will most likely be migrating to only use Teams.

B & C confusions, but its not my name.
-> "B" Update or The Patch Tuesday, happens every 2nd Tuesday of the Month with improvements, security & fixes, new features & it is MANDATORY. -> "C" Update happens every 3rd-4th week of the month with fixes & some improvements & it is OPTIONAL. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-it-pro-blog/windows-10-update-servicing-cadence/ba-p/222376 Many says, the "C" Update or The Optional Update can be skipped(its true) if you have NO ISSUE/s or BUG/s or PROBLEM/s occurs in your PC/Laptop, however it will be included in "B" Update or The Patch Tuesday. Question/s: 1. Why Do I/We need to skip the C Update if I/we found no problem, issue or bug in my/our system until the next update, if this still included in B Update or The Patch Tuesday? 2. If We/I skipped the C Update, does this mean the B Update file size is larger than NOT skipping the C Update? 3. What would the effect if I still Download & Install the C Update even I found no problem, issue, bug?

How to set preferred audio device for common jack
Used to be a window that came up every time I plugged in something to ask whether I intend to use it as a headphone or microphone. One of these times, I ticked headphones and also ticked the "don't ask me again" box. How do I bring up this window again?

Emojis 😀😎🤩👏
I like using emojis - not only in my personal emails and Skype messages. There are times when (regretfully) I have to decline a request or something of that nature. I find emojis can help to soften the message. I hope Windows will be able to expand the range - very good communication tool ✔💯

What is the best antivirus software out there?
I always wanted to ask this question since I honestly don't know enough about computers. I always wanted to know if I am wasting my money buying McAfee or is the windows updates enough? Is it harmful to have too many antivirus software on your computer. If one computer has it at home does it effect the others that are on the same network?
