Has your Bluetooth disappeared after an update?
Windows 10 is by far one of the best operating systems of this age, well, cause it is up to date. But one of the problems I encounter with windows is that it auto-updates, whenever there is internet connectivity. Recently, my PC installed updates and I turned off my Bluetooth. When i tried to find it, the option to turn it on was gone. If this has happened to you, well you're in luck. all you have to do is restart your PC, and before windows loads, Press F8 multiple times until yo get more options on windows. Select restore windows to an earlier point and this will cause your PC to restart, of course after you select restart. once it restarts, System restore window will show, click next and in the next window, select a date you would like to restore your windows. Once you have selected, System restore will warn you that once you begin System restore, you cannot cancel the process. Continue and let Windows restore your PC to the selected time. Do not turn off your PC during system restore at any costs. Doing so may damage your documents or cause your system to Crash
Edge Favorites 3 Concerns - Here We Go Again!
Maybe it's just me and I need to eat some humble pie, maybe it's Edge, and the fact that I'm running Edge Canary, and Edge Regular on my Laptop, I don't know. Concern #1:Lately I've noticed that sites I've brought up that I know are in my favorites are showing in the tool bar that they aren't. When I look in the favorites list using that awful favorite star, yup they're there. This site is a good example of that. When I looked in the what ever it's for "Favorites" folder, it's there also. Anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? Concern #2:Ah! But Wait There's More! I use the Favorites Bar quite heavily. It's pretty simple, or at least it was, right click and add to favorites bar. Nope! not any more! not in my Edge Canary Browser. Haven't checked the regular spread yet, will have to do that. Again any ideas. Concern #3: Does anyone know that if by changing the "Default" flag to "Disable in the Import from Edge Legacy that that may clear up some of the problems, or would that just cause more. I'm really just trying to get my favorite across the devices to match.

"Win 10 nearing end of service" mean?
I got a message on my home screen today that states, "your version of Windows 10 is nearing the end of service. Restart & Install the most recent version of Windows to get the latest security updates and support" . What does this mean? Am I going to have to start paying for this after I originally purchased it or something? Please advise. Debbie K

"Do the math" - again the expression meaning DUH, no kidding, obviously, oh but of course & way overdue. Finally make the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10❗ Hopefully you, already, have, since Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 over a year ago, which means devices running that OS no longer get important updates or security patches. Folks, please, accept that the days of Win7 & IE are absolutely over & done. Please grasp, having 7 connected to the Net is dangerous, very dangerous❗ Both to the End User AND potentially, to every other User on the Web. It is just as bad as if it were XP. Somebody the other day in another Tech Forum said, don't bother telling me to drop 7 or IE. Please, do NOT share such an attitude. Use 10 & Edge without any further delay, debate or discussion. You certainly will not regret it❗ 7 is completely, totally, vulnerable to attacks, hackers, malware & being a bot. There is nothing that can excuse or justify STILL running 7 (on the Net) or trying to use IE. Please, move forward... these old things are dead & dangerous❗ Cheers, Drew
Shutting down, restarting, or hibernating your PC

Notes and Tips: - If you enable Hybrid Sleep before putting your PC to sleep, it writes information to a disk, and then turns it off. If a power loss occurs, turning your PC back on will restore information that was written to a disk before it was put to sleep. - For fast start-up to work, your PC must have hibernation enabled. Check with Power Options in Control Panel. - You can also right-click Start and then point to Shut down or sign out. - You can use Power Options in Control Panel to configure your PC's power button or keyboard's sleep button to do other things like shutting down your PC or putting it to sleep. - If you have a laptop, it'll hibernate itself automatically after it's been to sleep for amount of time that you set in Power Options, found in Control Panel or Settings. - If your PC uses InstantGo (also known as Connected Standby), its screen will turn itself off if not used for a long time and continue performing background tasks like updating apps and syncing emails. There's no need to shut down your InstantGo-compatible PC, but if you wish to, hold the power button for four or five seconds, and then slide down from the top of the screen to shut down. - If any pending updates need to restart your PC, clicking Shut Down from the Power icon on the Start menu will configure updates in a first phase, restart your PC, configure updates again in a last phase, and then turn your PC off. - Some devices like keyboard and mouse may wake your PC up from sleep. To put a stop to this, go to Device Manager and check whatever device will wake your PC up from sleep.
