This Windows Community Conversation Board Thing
Please everyone forgive me if I have misunderstood as I do not wish to sound too negative. But I was under the impression this was for discussions about Microsoft & It`s operating system (windows) NOT a support group for windows support, especially as their are a Hugh number of support groups out there not to mention Microsoft windows support services. I may have only read a few comments so fare but the majority where about how to fix windows issues. Conversations on here about how, why and why they haven't been addressed successfully Syme to be more welcome & appropriate.

Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2
I am trying to update but it continue to download & install, process of update never getting completed. Suggest what to do next?

Edge problem fix in High Contrast.
I use Windows 10 in the High Contrast, yellow on black theme almost exclusively. On certain apps this causes minor problems, e.g. my Excel spreadsheet didn't print out darkly enough. On a hunch, I switched back to the "normal" black on white theme and it printed out perfectly. When I'm using Edge in the HC theme, on certain websites, e.g. L.L.Bean, Edge abruptly shuts down when I try to enter data. This stops happeniong when I switch back to the "normal" theme. This does suggest that HC and Normal need to be better synchronized (?) I hope this proves helpful

The Search in taskbar of computer suddenly becomes unusable.
[Emergencies] The Search feature in the taskbar at the bottom of my computer suddenly becomes unusable. Hi, I'm a Microsoft Independent Community Advisor, responsible for technical support for Windows in Microsoft Community in China. Today, we received reports from dozens of users about the "search function in the taskbar is not working properly" issue. Users reported that it would not pop up any search results when they entered anything in the search box. We don't know if this issue only occurs in China, but we have submitted feedback through the FeedBack Hub app. I sincerely wish Microsoft this issue as soon as possible and thank you all the Microsoft engineers for their efforts! Best wishes! Ling Gao - Microsoft Windows Insider, Microsoft Independent Community Advisor.

What new feature would you like most in the next Windows?
It seems lately the most we expect in terms of new features is security updates these days? I would like to see a major revamp to the U.I. and how about a good cleaning of legacy code out of Windows. Why not cut the fat out of the system a bit and have delineating feature set between legacy of 10 or more years ago and new. In other words try to make windows run faster on less resources. Add some new U.I. tweaks and eliminate redundant menus and settings. Add a new kernel and filesystem that is faster and more efficient. Harden the kernel further against attack and run more processes in sandbox. I would be pretty excited to see a new windows with those features, how about you?
