MS Build Day 1 - So Much Info❗
OMG❗ I will give more an 'editorial', than (a few) details. Build is basically for Developers and the building of apps, coding. But also, what those apps are or they will be used & to what benefit. It is mostly regarding Cloud, Azure, Teams and concerns for business & Enterprise... but think as Industry, Health & Medicine, Wellness, Education, Retail, Automotive, Finance, et al. The interoperability of open-source tools across ALL platforms & devices opens so many doors, makes so much (more) possible. Greater efficiency & productivity. Fluent UI is the universal open-source design language diving the plethora of Tools in AI, in everything from IT & IoT to Windows. MS is doing & offering heaps in terms of Learning Tools (for students AND teachers). Also, heaps of opportunities for Training, Learning & certifications in IT. The largest job market now & the next several decades is IT, Developers & Software engineers. MS Build has some VERY cool 3D Printing happening. Folks are submitting their files and those things are being done over the 2 days, fun to see. And info about 3D Printing, certainly. Azure is huge in all its components, services & offerings. It is super-powerful & comprehensive and massively helpful. It is not free. A major part of it is 4 or 5 items compiling its Power Platform; Power Automate is 1 of them. I say this to impress upon you what a big deal it will be part of WIN10 FOR FREE. I have another piece to tell, but I don't want to fret about space ergo will start another thread. I would like to see Microsoft create Games on their Website
If anyone has played the games on Facebook, they can be very challenging and the graphics on them are very good. People spend lots and lots of money trying to outdo other competitors on these games. I would like to see Microsoft do this on their website. Facebook stock has increased enormously by people spending money playing these games. I think Microsoft should look into this as an option for its viewers. I know it may affect the sales of their game playing equipment, but not everyone wants extra equipment laying around to hook up just to play some software.
Headset Microphone turns off when I access Device Settings
Hi All, really funny one and I'm wondering if it's actually a bug. When on a call with someone in teams I'm happily chatting away, then click on the 3 dots in the top left of the screen, and select Device Settings. As soon as I do that the microphone switches off and the only way to get it back is to end the call and call the person again. Very odd anyone else come across this ?

Update KB4571756 problems
the 9th september i shut down with an update and the 10th the PC didn't start. I had to use an external startup to install a backup from the 28th august operating system. So it was running again it starts with automatic updates. I restarted several times to update but after multiple times i figured out the last update KB4571756 will not install but keeps returning each time in the update menu. Don't know where to report this by Microsoft. Maybe more users have the same issue ?

Prior to 2004, I used a Windows-based computer. I was unhappy with Windows because of constant "blue screens of death", hackers planting viruses, etc...When I became a truck driver in 2004, I mainly used a mobile phone and started using Google products. I like their products and they all work seamlessly with each other. Now, I am a full-time Care-Provider for my mother and just purchased a new computer with Windows 10 Pro installed. I decided to give Microsoft apps a try once again because I do like their products. On my PC there are no problems, but on my Android phone, I just can't seem to get Cortana to work hands-free, and with certain apps. I do understand that there is a war between Microsoft, Apple, Google and any other companies that are out there, but, the customer (that would be you and I) should be able to use whatever Assistant we choose to work with any apps that we like and use. Case in point: the Google Assistant comes on automatically when I say "OK Google" (hands-free), and I can set a timer, ask about the weather, play my favorite music in the Google Play app, etc....no problem....Today I downloaded Cortana to work with all my apps and I cannot even get it to turn on without tapping the microphone button. I made it my default app, turned on all the permissions, etc...and I am discouraged with Microsoft again. I haven't given up yet, but I had to switch back to the Google Assistant just so I can do the things I need to do hands-free, which comes with a cost of not being able to use some of the Microsoft apps unless done manually. I like Microsoft's To-Do List, but Google Assistant will only open Google's Task app. It just defeats the whole purpose of downloading all of Microsoft's apps if I can't use everything seamlessly. I use Amazon Music now, and neither Assistant will open it. I would really like to use whatever Assistant I choose with the default apps that I select. Now, am I doing something wrong or does this sound about right?
