What will be the future of windows Operating System?
i have seen windows developing into a much more modern and advanced OS but i am starting to wonder what is the real future of the Windows Operating System. is it going to be cloud based OS like google's Chrome OS or it is going to be desktop OS and cloud based OS hybrid. either way it's really interesting to see what windows would've look like in 3 decades from now

This Windows Community Conversation Board Thing
Please everyone forgive me if I have misunderstood as I do not wish to sound too negative. But I was under the impression this was for discussions about Microsoft & It`s operating system (windows) NOT a support group for windows support, especially as their are a Hugh number of support groups out there not to mention Microsoft windows support services. I may have only read a few comments so fare but the majority where about how to fix windows issues. Conversations on here about how, why and why they haven't been addressed successfully Syme to be more welcome & appropriate.

How can Windows Community be more fun?
Hi everyone - I am the Windows Community program lead. Our goal in creating Windows Community is to have a place to connect between users and the people making Windows. And in the process, we want this to be fun and useful for everyone. If you have any ideas on how to add some fun into the community, or specifically to this website, please add your comments to this conversation. I'd love to hear from you!

Outlook.com Dictionary.
Hi Folks. Would it be possible to allow users of Office 365 to access the Word Dictionary for use in our Outlook.com e-mails. The current setup for Outlook.com won't allow me to add to the Dictionary for commonly used things such as names, some street addresses and suburbs, details of which have been easily added during my use of Word. A shared Dictionary would be terrific! Please help. Cheers, Gary Stazza. (Gary Stasinowsky.)

Add the translation features of Skype to mixer, then all players across the globe can play together without a language barrier.

Are there any features you wish Windows had?
One thing I saw someone had in another OS was that their file explorer equivalent had tabs. My jaw was floored.

Where can I learn more about the Event Log?
I have figured out the basics in Event Log, but I want to be good at it. Where can I find what the error codes mean? And, how to fix them? The link you always get to help you just take me too a search page. Most of the times I dont even know what to search for. This is probably a lot of information for your engineers, for me it just makes me feel like an idiot: Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost_10.0.18999.1_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy SID (S-1-15-2-155514346-2573954481-755741238-1654018636-1233331829-3075935687-2861478708). This security permission can be changed with the Component Services administrative tool. Component service I get, but it doesn't help me very much when I don't have the slightest idea of what to change. It would be so much easier to provide relevant and good reports in Feedback Hub if I could find a way to learn more. Sincerely LokePus

Manufacturing Windows Engineering Guide | Microsoft Docs
https://docs.microsoft.com/.../manufacture/desktop/manufacturing-windows-engineering-guideOEMs typically provision the RTC in Local Time (LT) for devices shipped with Windows 7. Windows 7 exclusively uses the CMOS time interface to get RTC time, which is interpreted as LT. In Windows 8, we added support for the ACPI Time & Alarm device, but Windows 8 also uses the CMOS RTC, if it is available, and treats the time returned from it as LT.
