Type Cover Typing
Recently I bought a Surface Go2. After getting through a couple of PICNIC errors we are up and running nicely. Yea there are things I don't like, but overall I'm as happy as a cat at a dairy farm. I was on an app the other day that allows us to edit our input. When I tried to insert a symbol using the keyboard attached to my Go2, I was unable to insert anything. Right Click No "insert" I remembered that I had done this before, so I was stumped. Ah! I was on an Android tablet and the symbols were already there, along with some other sines that I needed. But I remembered something else too. When I took off the key board and pressed the Fn on the screen keyboard, the Omega sign popped up, and there were most of the inserts that I needed. So how can I using the type cover keyboard type in different signs, such as degrees or Omega just to name a couple, or do I have to remove the keyboard. I tried the windows+ctrl+o keyboard and that was just a duplicate of what I'm typing on now, so no joy.

Tips and tricks: Network drives and computers
Instead of mapping network drives, create desktop shortcuts to folders from another computers on the network. Then, double-click a shortcut to folder and you'll be able to access a folder from another computer on the network. To access another computer on the network, open the Network folder, and then drag a computer to the desktop. The shortcut is then created to the desktop. Double-clicking a shortcut to a network computer will open in a window. Sometimes, you'll be prompted for credentials from another user. You can send files or folders to a folder from your computer to another computer on the network. To do this: 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R. 2. Type "shell:sendto" (without the quotes) and press ENTER. 3. Access the folder from another computer on the network in the Network folder. 4. Hold down ALT and drag the folder to the SendTo window. A shortcut will be created. Now, whenever you right-click a file, point to Send to, and then click a folder that is from another computer on the network, another user will receive it.

Legacy Programs
What is/are the legacy program(s), NOT apps! that you are still running, and why? I still use a totally outdated Microsoft Streets and Trips 2011, mainly because I like to plan routes, and it is/was the easiest software to use, and how it save 1 dirt poor school district tons of money!. Man I wish they'd bring that back!

Training Programs
Does Windows have training programs for individuals interested in breaking into the IT field? I'm not even sure what area to be interested in, I just know IT is very marketable and in the current economic climate I need all the help I can get.

Nasty Trojan/Virus
Whenever I open the Microsoft Edge browser, which has the MSN homepage set - and before I've even clicked on anything else - a nasty trojan/virus (Perfstringbackup.tmp) installs, then my firewall is disabled, and then a fake Windows update downloads more malware onto my PC. How is this all possible?

Does the "Search" Tool Make Navigating Your Computer Easier?
I use the "Search" feature frequently, I'm a big fan. For years I've wanted a simple search bar on my computer that could find mostly anything I'm looking for. That little magnifying glass in the bottom left side of the task bar can locate the files, programs, settings, even websites that best match my search. I work at MSFT and I'm curious about your thoughts & feedback. Thank you in advance!

Unsupported disk layout for UEFI firmware, 0xc1900201
When I try to install the W10 version 2004 feature update I get the following error: Windows cannot be installed because this PC has an unsupported disk layout for UEFI firmware. 0xc1900201 I have a 2018 Dell XPS 15 9570 laptop.32GB, 1.0TB SSD, most current BIOS update from Dell that shows UEFI as the BIOS mode. Microsoft is telling me I have to do a full scratch install of the current shipping version of W10 and then install the 2004 feature update, thus, I have to do a full backup and restore, then reinstall all of the apps. Is this actually necessary? I'm hoping there's another way to do this. I've worked for software companies in the past and often times Tech Support resorts to a full remiage of the cmputer in order to fix a problem. Are they just lazy or for real? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Browser problemen
