Ever feel like MicroSoft isn't being completely honest ?
It is my belief that transparency and nomenclature are major issues that MicroSoft (r) refuses to or is unable to (probably little of both) address . . . It is my belief that software (and hardware) should be both reliable and elegant . . . LIKE A WALL SWITCH ! ! !
My "w" key does not work
I have a keyboard problem and am hoping I can get some help. My Pavilion dv7 "w" does not work at all and my "e" key works when it wants to. I am tired of copy and paste a w every morning and tapping like a maniac on the e until it works. PLEASE HELP ME!

how do i undelete file processes in the task bar.. copies starting print out blank...checked nozzle head, cleaned nozzle heads about 8 times, added new ink cartridge and still blank paper set up a different printer that i had lexmark x5470 and it is doing the exact same thing-blank pages....it had to have been one of the background process files that i deleted..how do i find them and restore them...don't remember what they were, just that they started with the letter a....believe that it had to do with adobe... can anyone please help.. printer is needed desperately since i am working from home...thank you!
Headset Microphone turns off when I access Device Settings
Hi All, really funny one and I'm wondering if it's actually a bug. When on a call with someone in teams I'm happily chatting away, then click on the 3 dots in the top left of the screen, and select Device Settings. As soon as I do that the microphone switches off and the only way to get it back is to end the call and call the person again. Very odd anyone else come across this ?
camera access
I used zoom to connect successfully but the laptop cannot find the camera. i have allowed access through antivirus but still 'cannot find camera'

programs shutting down after deleting o other older version
I just have a lot of stuff and programs that have worked flawlessly on my PC . Its a Dell inspiron 1500... have never up graded to windows 10 as I haven't had the need. I downloaded several new files ontop of of an existing program, usually updates files into the existing software. This software is a proven working software for many of us in the Amateur Radio community. so they are proven and have no issues around the world. What I did was delete several older versions of the program and now when I try to bring up any of the newer versions , it comes up fine then tanks. The only way I can get the software to work in any way is to go back to earlier versions.. Just perplexed. I have tried with administration logging into the program ect... Just anything of Help would be appreciated. I am a Area Emergency coordinator and do tons of emergency nets, the only other option is to just reload windows and start over... In my opinion that would be the last choice HELP thanks The software is called FLDIGI and latest versions are 4.1.15 or later I can run 4,0,08.
Oh no a keyboard oopsie ๐ฎ๐ค
I preface this posting by indicating that I reported this oopsie to the 'Hub' yesterday evening. ๐โ At 19:40 UK local time, I attempted to use my computer. However, I found that my Bluetooth keyboard was unresponsive to my 'tapping'. I had several attempts to remedy the problem; the keyboard remained unresponsive. I had to ask a family member if there was anything happening on the screen ๐ค - there was not. I decided to do re-start - the keyboard remained unresponsive. I then powered down the device, unplugged all device and peripherals and plugged back in and powered up. I was able to check settings using my mouse pointer and I located a system message that read my email provider settings were out-of-date, My email settings have never been out of date. I concluded that Windows had been checking my system. No problems with that. ๐คฉ I clicked on the MS account panel and proceeded to go through the checking process. The Bluetooth keyboard was re-initiated. ๐๐ #JustSharing ๐ Keep well all.
