I have flat bed HP scanner that Windows 10 doesnt recognize
I have an older HP flatbed scanner ScanJet 3570C that worked well with Windows Vista but now can't seem to get Windows 10 recognize it. What options do I have, given that my laptop has Windows 10? I can't find any drivers on the HP website, or on Windows for that matter.
More memory usage on windows 10
I use a laptop with 4 Gb ram. But windows uses almost 50% of memory Which results in slow running of other programs .Please suggest some remedy to reduce the memory usage...
Previous version of Windows 10
The Disk Cleanup Utility tells me I have 19.1 GB of a previous version of Windows. My question is: Should I select to delete this from my HD? I recently re updated from Version 1909 to 2004. I had previously updated to 2004 back in June, had nothing but problems, which finally led to a complete system failure in early September. That required to me to do a clean install of Version 1909 from an ISO file. Version 1909 ran great. About three weeks ago I thought I'd give Version 2004 another try, had some problems, learned that on Lenovo laptops there was an issue with BIOS and Windows Version 2004. Fortunately, last week Lenovo came forward with an BIOS update for my laptop. That has solved the issues I was having, and now Version 2004 is running fine. Now that you have the background of my experience with Version 2004, would you as a user delete the older version of Windows and regain the use of the space on the HD? unbale to find windows notepad.
for some reason i cant find windows notepad and all the notepad files randomly dissapeared, when i checked in microdoft store it say it is installed but it cant be used in this device. i am currently using a surface pro 4 it worked fine before it is suddenly gone along with all the saved files what can i do now??
i have been installing windows 10 from windows 7 for 18 hr
installing w10 fm w7 for more thab 18hrs still not complete using my mobile hot spot about to give up any advice????
Windows update caused chaos
Last Windows update came to my Surface without warning. It was already there when I started. Suddenly a couple of days later I found out that my HDD was full and Pc in difficulties. I found out that Update had diverted my OneDrive sync process automatically to my HDD and filled it completely. I am still trying to solve this disaster. HDD has difficulties in cleaning and OD has difficulties in syncing. Before Update everything went fine since I unchecked File on demand as I do not trust OneDrive anymore for all my files. I had external drive for all my files and OD was synchronized with this external drive without problems. Without any warning Windows started diverting and syncing all my files to my HDD and oveloading it. What a disaster! As I can not trust any online company for monopoly of all my files I can not accept the File-on-demand option. Windows is obviously trying to make this monopoly power obligatory. Which makes me consider another cloud service. At the moment I have my data fortumnately on my external drive. I am trying to delete OneDrive from HDD but it seems in difficulties. There is no space left for this process. I tried to uninstall OneDrive program from HDD in order to reinstall on external drive, but HDD could not uninstall. Microsoft has made a violent invation on my PC and caused a complete chaos. Any assistance to this problem?
Windows 10, and ordinary users
Without any doubt Microsoft and Windows are the best in the world, but what as a user since 25 years says : design, features, instruction, email(outlook) and.......all components of what Microsoft produce for the people of the world are complicated and not for ordinary people like me and 90 percent of users , but for elites and people with high knowledge of computer or better to say informatic and high technology, the time and money Microsoft puts on updates and new features is massive in compare with rivals. and in my opinion it is the most weak point of Microsoft. with best regards,
