Setting up virtual machine running an older Windows version
I'd like to try running virtual machines with Windows XP, 95, and 3.11 to access old software that no longer runs in Windows 10 - Things not even compatibility modes will run. Anyone have some guides for that?
Windows media player deletes files
Hello Team, I have updated my machine into W10 20H2 with all the updates. I have few issues with WMP. 1. WMP adds any physical drives into it's sync list but in the included media folder list these physical drives are not listed. It has only the default user's media folder entry. The problem is, I can't exclude my other drives as it automatically scans them and added to the library. 2. When I tried to delete the library, it started deleting the physical files even though this option was disabled in the menu. I lost some important files and I have no backup either. 3. This behavior was not there in 1909, as it simply flushes the library without destroying physical files. 4. I have uninstalled WMP due to this dangerous yet strange behavior and the removel process too did not remove the WMP files from the app Directory of which I had to remove them manually. No clue of what has happened but appreciate if someone can explain this. WMP resetting did not work either. There's no option within the player to reset to defaults. Thank you in advance. CA

As we have been discussing on this platform the benefits of Windows 10 with all its new features it is leading me to think of buying a new computer. 🤔🤨🙄. My existing HP desktop is fine but with all the whiz-bang features my brain is nudging me into seriously thinking about a new device 🤯. #JustSharing 😚 Does anyone have any recommendations? Windows XP activation after replacing motherboard
guys im sorry before cause im not native english speaker... i really need your help... so, its start when i replacing my motherboard with the new one.. when im turn on my pc windows ask me too activating my windows, so i clicked activation by phone in the middle in progress it directed to "log on to windows" , i try to enter username with "admin" , "administrator" and "user" it wont logged on... so.. i take my HDD and placing it on my other PC.. and it worked without need to activation.. and my other HDD i place on my new motherboard it need to activation.. please help me
What new feature would you like most in the next Windows?
It seems lately the most we expect in terms of new features is security updates these days? I would like to see a major revamp to the U.I. and how about a good cleaning of legacy code out of Windows. Why not cut the fat out of the system a bit and have delineating feature set between legacy of 10 or more years ago and new. In other words try to make windows run faster on less resources. Add some new U.I. tweaks and eliminate redundant menus and settings. Add a new kernel and filesystem that is faster and more efficient. Harden the kernel further against attack and run more processes in sandbox. I would be pretty excited to see a new windows with those features, how about you?
Feature Update to Windows 10 version 20H2 - 😊🙏👏 - Bing 💜
As a follow on from my previous posting of this morning I will be visiting the 'Bing' platform frequently. Scrolling down from the images there is a tab 'Positive Vibes'. Clicking on this tab the User is able to choose a really great selection of videos accompanied by healing meditation music. I find this feature very attractive an whilst I am unable to 'see' the images, the music is rather wonderful💜. I will be a regular visitor to this platform. It may be my imagination but I think the sound quality in this feature update has been enhanced. I could be wrong but I don't think so. The sound quality is very good indeed. I will be checking out the numerous new tips - such as listing favourites in alphabetical order 🤩. This is very helpful tip ✅💯 Keep well all
Closing Windows in Edge and Canary Edge
After recent updates, it seems that it often takes multiple clicks on the "X" to close a tab. This occurs even when time is taken to place cursor in center of "X".
Any one updated Windows 10 Build 1903 without facing issue.
Lol, I think no one updating their windows without Issue.
