Microsoft is not just in the business of selling software!
I tend to think that Microsoft is an 'Agent of Change'. π―β With each evolution of its operating systems and Cloud developments, there quickly follows a change revolution. MS and its Windows is a bridge for where we are now and where we wish/need/want to go. This kind of bridge manifests itself in many ways, for example, this Windows Community and the Insider Programme. We can all get involved in design, notwithstanding our various levels of skills, expertise (or otherwise) and motivation. Our feedback and challenges to Microsoft makes their teams stronger and even more dynamic. When I first challenged the Moderator of this platform concerning more features to aid disabled people, I had no idea at the time that I was, in fact, on the bridge - never occurred to me π Duh! Motivated by what the Moderator indicated, I am now designing a full spec document for a BOT to hopefully enhance the Windows experience for blind people. Whether or not I will be able to bring this idea to fruition is in the 'laps of the gods'. However, I will apply my best endeavours to make a blind person's experience of Windows a positive and rewarding experience. By contributing to this platform and the Insider Programme, you are on the bridge and by posting your views/comments/questions and solutions you are an Enabler and Influencer. You will motivate others to do the same. I personally think this is so cool. ππ€© We are the Users and what we think is, I believe, important to Microsoft. At least, this is my personal experience. I welcome your different opinions. Many thanks for taking the time to read this posting - see you on the bridge π Keep well.

Hi everyone Is anyone experiencing updates failures for 'cumulative updates for Windows 10 version 2004 for x64-based systems #KB4550936. This has failed four times or perhaps even five times. I have to think that this will be fixed. I would just like to understand what has failed and why. I am a curious person. Views anyone?

Outlook.com Dictionary.
Hi Folks. Would it be possible to allow users of Office 365 to access the Word Dictionary for use in our Outlook.com e-mails. The current setup for Outlook.com won't allow me to add to the Dictionary for commonly used things such as names, some street addresses and suburbs, details of which have been easily added during my use of Word. A shared Dictionary would be terrific! Please help. Cheers, Gary Stazza. (Gary Stasinowsky.)

Your device might run into an issue or issues like in Windows 10 functionality and the In-Place Upgrade sometimes is the most reliable and quickest way to fix the Windows 10 malfunctions. Here are the options you can choose to fix issues & the differences between the In-place Upgrade of Win. 10 vs. re-installation of Win. 10. 1st option) The best quickest option but one that might take a while is called an In-place Upgrade of Windows 10. Here is the link on how to perform one. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/how-to-perform-an-in-place-upgrade-with-windows-10/7f0b236e-3c6c-4913-9691-c4baa2a6190a Here are two good things about an In-place Upgrade: a) it re-install Windows 10 to the current one b) you can choose to keep files, folders, apps, etc. ( that means you will not loose anything after the In-Place Upgrade is finished) 2nd option) re-install or clean install Windows 10: This method is faster than an In-place Upgrade but all your apps, drivers, updates, etc. gets erased. (reminder: backup every files, folders, etc. before performing this. Apps will have to be reinstalled.) This let's your device start fresh. You can choose to backup folders, files, etc. to the D drive, if you choose not to erase the D drive during the re-install of Windows 10. Here is the link on how to perform re-installation of Windows 10. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/clean-install-windows-10/1c426bdf-79b1-4d42-be93-17378d93e587 Hope the info. helps.
