Elementary question
Hi Community, Having been refused over a number of submissions to recover my Microsoft Primary Account, I am wondering if my email outlook.com may not be country specific for the UK user or should outlook.co.uk be right or both? Any answers for a Microsoft 10 beginner would be appreciated. I am a past user of 7 and then 8.1 but 10, I just find rather user unfriendly for an old codger of 74. Regards, Les.

Can no longer write to files in my home Documents
My files in my home Document are no longer writable. I've suspected Dropbox, Bitdefender and Windows Account, but am unable to fix. If I try to write to a file in \Users\me\Documents it says: You'll need to provide administrator permission ... So if I chose 'Continue', it says You need permission to perform this action. You require permission from me-DESKTOP\me to make changes I am logged in to me-DESKTOP as me. I am the Administrator and only user on this box and for years all has been fine, until recently. Another interesting find is that I seem to only have this problem with a compressed folder. I cannot Uncompress it either, 'An error occurred applying attributes to the file: Access is denied". When I open Properties, Security, Advanced I can see that the Owner is me (me-DESKTOP\me) and if I click on the 'Change' button NOTHING happens except the Change button becomes grayed out. If I do the same steps in SAFE mode, I can actually change ownership to me, but when I boot back to regular mode the problem returns. I've disabled my anti virus, uninstalled dropbox but continue to have the issue. I've found that if I copy the files to a new location they become writable. I also have another weird issue where I am regularly being advised by Windows that my Windows Account needs to be updated and opens a dialog asking me to login with an old email address that I no longer have. I have gotten a reset code (on an alternate email address) and updated my account to use a new email address but when I get the notification that my windows account needs to be updated I just repeat - as in, just read this paragraph over and over and over.

Chat with Others
Why can't we add a chat feature to Chat with others in the Windows Community? There could be a plain chat box, like Teams. And we type the user's name along with the message. For example, the message could be, "@Kam, hi!" I hope you like this idea. Kam https://kam2011.wixsite.com/website

Actulizações do Win 10
Geralmente limito-me a permitir que as actualizações automáticas sejam instaladas. Está correcta esta atitude? Obrigado pela ajuda que me for dada.

How to get written permission from Microsoft
I have converted some of my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and would like to know how I can get permission from Microsoft to distribute these files. I do not want to break the company law and the airplanes require a Microsoft product (flight simulator x) to run it. It would be a great start for my company if I could distribute these files online as Flight Simulator 2002 is in limited availability and many more people have Flight Simulator X and I know some who would enjoy it. I have purchased legal copies of many Microsoft products over the years (windows 2000, Windows XP, Office 2003, Office 2010, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and even Windows 10, Xbox One, Flight Simulator for Windows 95, Flight Simulator 98, Flight Simulator 2000, Flight Simulator 2002, Flight Simulator 2004, Flight Simulator X and Flight Simulator 2020) I feel like it is not too much to ask for to get written permission to publish one modified aircraft for virtually the same software. I do not plan to profit from it.

Am I the only person who uses One Drive to share files??????
I think that One Drive is fantastic for many reasons, one of which is the ability to share files with anyone just by sending them a link (email attachments are so last decade). But so often when I suggest this to a friend or colleague they look as me as though I have just landed from outer space! Yet everyone seems so familiar with Dropbox. Often when I suggest sending something via One Drive they say "just send it via Dropbox"! Why is this? For a Windows 10 user surely One Drive is so much easier. So, my conversation starter is: - "Am I the only person who likes to use One Drive for file sharing?
