Why were Cortana and Search separated into different icons?
Prior to the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (version 1903), there was one icon. It allowed me to search and access my Cortana interests. Now, there are two different icons. The Search icon allows me to search, and that's it. The Cortana icon allows me to see my interests from Cortana. My question is: Why do we now have separate icons?
after update my computer whipped clean
After I installed an window's update all my pictures etc was whipped clean. It said welcome to windows like I had just started and every time I restart my computer it does it again. Can anyone help me figure out what to do?
Having problem with installing and running Quake 4
Hi everyone, I bought Quake 4 online for me to play since I am a big fan and played most of them, but not this one. The problem I am having is that it won't run on Windows 10 and I even tried the compabality mode but still can't get it to work. I have a HP Laptop with 64 bits and a intel Pentium CPU. I installed once but it didn't work I uninstalled it so I hope that you guys could help me with this. I am also having the same issue with Doom 3 but it tells me I have to be a ADNSM so I could really use your help. thank you Dan

Ok, I need some help here! I'm running Microsoft Edge Canary, and yesterday I noticed that I was unable to leave any comments on one particular site that I frequent. I thought that there might have just been a glitch in their system and moved on. This morning I noticed that one of the sites that I use to sign in to comment on the above mentioned site, would not let me comment or even see the already posted comments, on that site as well. Hmmmm. The only change I had made yesterday. was activating the "Sleeping Tabs Flag" so I disabled that, restarted Edge Canary, and nothing changed. Next I opened Microsoft Edge "Normal"? and looked and saw that I was able to comment on both sites. I checked and both settings were identical on Edge Canary and Normal. Next I opened up Chrome and was also able to comment on both sites as well. I know some of you are going to suggest "Why don't you just either stay with Edge Normal, or Chrome? In the overall scheme of things that would probably be alright, except that Edge Normal doesn't quite have all of the features that Canary has. Could I live without them sure, but truth be told, I'm too much of a tinkerer. As for Chrome. I keep it around for back up and to show those tech support people who's only answer is "well you need to use Chrome instead of Internet Explorer"..... Hello Windows Community. I am making this post to ask everyone, please for the love of god. You need to understand that we here are not AI, we do not simply understand random words. To be able to help we need actual helpful information regarding your issues, not just random words randomly put in a sentence! If you say ''My computer is slow for no reason'', you are not helping us help YOU. Yes I can give you A LOT of troubleshooting steps, but isn't it going to be better if you just provided some more valuable information. 1. When did the problem occur, and have you done something that might be the reason for the issue? 2. What version are you running of Windows 3. Is it a laptop or a Desktop...etc. Information like this is extremely helpful, because sometimes no one can help you, if you are the only one who understands the thing that you have written! Please try to make sure there is no spelling mistakes that will make your message unreadable! Make sure you have (in detail) explained your issue. Make sure you have given enough info that we can understand, there is nothing like TOO much details when it comes to such problems! The more details you give us, the better and faster we will be able to help. I am extremely annoyed when I see so many confused people like me here, just because someone was too ''lazy'' to write two more sentences! I am always trying to answer, but sometimes I can not, and most of the times I can not because I do not understand your issue! How do you expect us to understand if even Google struggles to find results. Please, be more careful when explaining your issues. I am not trying to look like I am the smartest guy, but I think we can all agree that it is annoying not being able to help just because we simply do not understand the issue ๐ค Thank you for the time spent, wish you all an amazing rest of the year ๐

So hard to use the search function in File Explorer of 1909
Hi, I am a so old Windows user since Windows 3.2. I found it so hard to use the updated search function in File Explorer of 1909. 1. In 1903 and earlier, I click the search box, the search ribbon tool appear immediatelly, and I can modify the search options, like search by time/size and/or other properties. In 1909, the search ribbon tool does not come out immediatelly, I have to type something before the tools appear, and delete what I have typed to search all the files with just the modified option. It is not satisfied. 2. When I click the search box, the history list does not jump out smoothly. Sometimes it has no response, no input icon, I have to close the file explorer window, which is quite annoying. 3. The appear of address and search box are changed, they look taller than before, I perferde the slim design.
