Anyone a fan of these? Many colors so notes can be colored by type. 🟦🟨🟩⬜🟪 They are great for recipes you want to try out! Delete if you don't want to save. Any time you have a receipt confirmation on a webpage, just copy and paste onto sticky notes. You can delete when you decide you don't need anymore. Save links to a place you may want to visit again, (but are not crucial enough to mark as a favorite) if you are shopping. Designate specific colors for Just purchased a new PC and transferred all data from old PC to new one, successfully for the most part. However.... Sticky notes did not transfer...😮 I'm bumming Windows Community....if I go onto my old PC, I can copy all onto a word document & then send email to my new PC....would be nice if I could "stick" them to a word document, like sticky notes attached to a piece of paper, rather than paste. Then I could print if needed. That possible? ❔
Why do I have to keep signing on to One Drive?
I have Windows 10. Ever since an update in September I get these message several times a week from notifications-it used to be every day. "We need to fix your Microsoft account (most likely your password changed). (NOT SO) Select here to fix it in shared experience settings". Sometimes I get the message that I must be using a new device. (NOT SO) Anyway I got to setting and check "Fix" Then I sign in with my email and password. Then I have to wait to get an email with a code. If I use my computer, I have to sign in to my email which wants 2 step verification so I sign into another email to get that code. On an on it goes. It is very frustrating. Even after going through ALL the steps, if I want to save a Word Document (Word 2019 not 365) I have to sign in to the cloud again. The nerdy computer help for microsoft can't understand my question of she will connect me with a person, then after a few minutes it times out and says try again later. I am at my wits end and considering buy an Apple Computer.
COVID-19 En de gemuteerde vorm
Ik ben net als iedereen COVID moe. Nu komt er nog een schep bovenop dor die gemuteerde vorm!!!!Wie weet hoe vaak de vorm kan muteren en kan het virus immuun worden als men nu al gaat inenten??? Ik hoop dat het allemaal snel maar vooral veilig onder controle komt want ik word er bang van!!!! Ook zou ik graag weer eens met mijn ouders knuffelen, zij zijn boven de 80 jaar. Zou ik dat zowiezo nog ooit kunnen?????
Outlook rule based on age of email
does anyone know of a way to create a rule in Outlook to move all emails from domain x to folder x and domain y to folder y after they reach a specific age. In other words once an email reaches 17 days old from any sender in x.com, I want to move it from my inbox to folder x. Using data range doesn't work because those are specific dates and I don't want to have to manually update and run everyday. Sweep does not work because it is for 1 sender not a domain. Archive doesn't work because it is for all email and not domain or sender specific, Seems like it should be easy enough. Thanks

Preventing changes to a file
To prevent changes to a file: 1. In File Explorer, go to a folder that contains a file. 2. Double-click a file while holding down ALT. 3. Click to check the Read-only box, and then click OK. Note While your file is set to read-only, you can't make changes to it while using a program, such as Microsoft Word or Paint. However, you can save it by typing another name while keeping a read-only file intact.
How to remove all threats on Windows.
In order to remove them use the "windows security full scanner" to find the threats you have on your divice. After you cannot see the scan button any more you will see a botton that say "start action". Above the botton you will see the threat on your divice. Then, click on all the threats on your divice. Make sure the black dot in the circle is next to the word remove. After, you are done, double check it or triple check. Then, click the botton "start action". Remember never chick "allow on divice".
Differentiating Simultaneous File Explorer Sessions
I frequently need to open multiple instances of File Explorer to facilitate file management among different clients or projects. It requires high concentration and effort to ensure placing the correct items in the appropriate folders. Is there a way to customize each simultaneous Explorer window to differentiate them, such as by changing the Folder/ File name text or font, or Explorer Page Header or Page Color? This would also be useful for other apps such as Word and Excel.
cortana to be more human
most of our users don't normally take cortana as default assistant because they expect cortana or AI to be more human like alexa or siri or google assistant itself. I am thinking of making cortana take control in lights, thermostat, TV screen etc. and computer too. first of all like take for example "open whatsapp", open applications or programs that are on the computer, the first and basic thing and second "open printer ". let cortana take control over our devices. and also like hands free productivity like "create a task and name the title shopping ". what i meant was reconstruct cortana into more friendly and more productive so that our users can just say and do whatever productive on word or excel with just words and cortana can just do it within snap. add more commands, can we do it on cortana and other assistants like sri are growing fast but why cortana ????
brand new computer windows 10 pro randomly locks up
it doesn't mater what I'm doing it could be word , excel outlook or edge the computer will lock up , and then comes back in 5 to 10 seconds , I've never had this issue in any of my computers can anyone point me the right direction
